I have had a few encounters with people from the afterlife. I have also had a few out of body experiences. My most frightening experience was when I was 15. I could feel a presence in my bedroom and at one point the spirit repeatedly called my name, using my brother's voice. I was perpetually terrified and had difficulty sleeping.
Several years after we moved, my father told me how he awoke one night and looked out a window over the back yard and knew someone was buried back there. In addition, 11 years ago, I met an older man who grew up in the house behind that house. He said a 19-year old boy had hung himself in an adjoining back yard shed. He stated this boy was in trouble with the law for harassing young girls. My latest visit was from my deceased uncle. I could see and hear him. He told me that if I did not quit smoking immediately, I would die from lung cancer. I have yet to shake the smoking habit and hopefully it will not be to late when I do.
My mother is more sensitive than I. She predicted 9/11 about four months before it happened. She did not know the location but asked my family to stay away from the Mall of America as she knew there would be a major terrorist attack. Another psychic, a palm reader named "Little Sally", told me that I would have twins in 20 years when I was 12. I had my twins when I was 32, five days before my 33rd birthday. I was told that I have a "thin line" between my conscious and subconscious mind. I guess that's one way to explain it.
This ability feels like it is always at my finger tips, I just don't know how to harness it. I have so many questions about this ability. What is it and how does it work?
