um I used have this guy chasing me in my dreams but now I know who it is and I'm not scared of them. In my dreams I always used to win, and he always try to kill my parents but I never let him do that. You just got to belief in yourself. That is all and do best you can and leave rest to God. I feel strongly that yellow_rose13, is giving you good advice, I needed to be empowered and not be given in to fear. I think how I dealt with my experiences before they no longer hurt my heart and I let them go, is right along the lines of yellow_rose13's way of aproaching it and dealing with it.

my heart goes out to you. I had expeirences with dark forces, I found that the more my heart was optemistic, fearless and full of as much love that is hopeful I could contain while seeing such things they fled from what was in my heart. But that is only me. I don't want to push my experience on you, I don't want to doubt you either if I can help it. I have a scetipcal side to me, even after my experiences seeing unpleasant forces, I tried to forgive them in a way by telling myself they werent real. But I don't know really what you should do, I am not sure what is best to do, I called on my higher power and trusted in it, and it brought me peace and that allowed me to not be afraid or care about darkness. I guess after I dealt with those things like yours I let them go, I feel they have very little to do with me but confirm that if they exist so does thier opposite, true goodness and light beyond me. I am not always good or bad. But then I rationalize somethings too. Have you thought of reaching out to someone you trust who talked before of the same thing and is no longer afraid, If you know such a person. I think these darkness can push us to connecting with others that can help us feel less powerless. And If you can feel less powerless perhaps you will be alright? I hope all will work out for you.

I'm hoping this will be of some help to you but their are a bunch of people who take a defensive stance when I say this. I have no particular belief in god or the devil or good and evil... I think it is all one and the same. I'm kind of a believer that anything that can be will be... I was raised catholic and when I was 15 much like yourself I started being haunted and not in any other way than I have ever experienced anything before, I have always been a very intuitive and sensitive kid also extremely empathic. I see energy fields at all times. And when I turned 15 shortly after I've experienced some of scariest thing of my life. I read a lot of stories on here. And 15 seems to be the magical age for this type of phenomena to start. Growing up with a catholic upbringing made me wonder demon at times especially when I saw dark shadows darting back and forth and also just standing and watching me (but I still see them they are not demons, trust me) If you believe in it... It will come true, so I refuse to believe in demons period. That's my personal belief because I know that we are very powerful conduits in which energies can attach themselves too and stick around. So the more you fear the more power you give the stronger it will become. The truth "in my opinion" is that you yourself are in power and have to take control. I'm not saying your "demon" is not real but it's a product of your energy so you have to find away to cut you energy from it. I'm sorry that your friend passed away but I don't think a demon would kill someone what would be the fun in that they want torment the living and as it sounds from what you say you are tormented enough already without the demon killing someone you care about. Trust me I have negative energies that are attached to my family but it is energy, it's like having an illness that pops up when you are at your weakest. Demons, especially the truly evil ones are not resting in making malice to everyone of us. Even us that has an experience in them or we have some helpers sometimes do find difficulties in kicking their buts.

IMHO. Find a help. Don't get confused and sort every comment that you will wish to follow. Ask God to send some help for you. Don't pray like a looping software. Pray with all your heart and don't pray like the hypocrites.

Dealing with spirits is a serious thing comparable to waging war without somebodies assistance.

I am pretty sure that if you are not lying you are might be a medium. If you can't find help in regard with this type of gift you might ended up messing with everybody.

I being an Empathic type do find difficulties in distinguishing my own emotions and being a medium is not hard as that if you can find help.

You have your will to shut the gates and no spirit can dictate you with what you will. Being a medium is that you are like God sitting on the gates. At your will if you are trained you can allow any spirit to take your body to serve as a bridge between the seen and unseens and it will not be weird if you will be haunted by demons, spirits, ghost or bunch of weird things in the spiritual world.

Both good and evil spirits sees you as potent thing for them, for good or bad. Some dead might approach you because they wish they could even say goodbye to their families.

It will be too hard and will be a nightmare if you could not find help.

Pablo if you found help and you have chased this demon of yours learn how to shield yourself using layers of aura.

Shielding will be the best defense barrier against them. If you learn how, try to broaden your skill adding several layers and I will prefer to advise you that you should try to develop how to create a black layer.

Black layer for us psi vamps shut every thing from this world. We can't feed and intruder can penetrate without being noticed. Black aura is subtle in defense lines it can nullify all colors and spirits can't easily breach it.

Spin it if you can. If I were you I will spin each layer in different directions. This will help you avoid being attacked on a single spot. Having that attack is damaging and it might penetrate and your done again.

oh yes, and never use a demon's name. Never even write it down. If you have written it, burn whatever you may have with that written upon it. It will only give it strength.

Okay, listen, a negative entity, even a demon, can only get it's strength from a person who invites that interaction in some way. Many people have demon issues when they do something to open a circle and never close it (like use a Ouija board, do a seance, participate in satanism etc.) Also, if you are living in a home where there are people experiencing drug addictions, severe or abusive relationships, or extreme self esteem issues that may involve eating disorders.

Demons are hard to get rid of but it is possible if the person being affected can stand up to it firmly even when things get bad (ie. Physical illness may occur during the heat of it, even scratches on the skin, dizziness, feelings of pressure etc.) The more fear to give to this entity, the stronger it will be.

The first thing you need to do is evaluate YOUR beliefs. Are you Christian? Pagan? Catholic? Jewish? Regardless of what anyone says it's not where the demon comes from that should determine your approach but it's your beliefs that should be considered. The stronger you are in your beliefs, the better off you will be. You can call on a Christian priest but if you don't believe in the protection that that church has to offer or you just don't feel strongly attached to Christianity, you will not achieve relief as quickly or effectively.

Once you've determined your beliefs you should find a trustworthy and experienced source near you who can help you through an exorcism process. If you don't know where to start you'd be best to contact either a well known paranormal research group for their connections (like PRS of the A&E television show Paranormal State) or even a local paranormal research group who has been around a while and who has connections. Before you agree to accept help from any group, ask them questions, how many cases have they handled? How many of a demonic nature? What is their success rate? Are they featured in any local papers for their work? What about online, are they featured in blogs or paranormal networking resources?

Groups like this do exist and will sometimes even travel and come to you. This is where I would start.

Most of all, you need to solidify your beliefs and stand up to this thing or it will never leave. When you stand up to it, things will get worse before they get better, it's going to try and deter you from pushing it away or closing this circle. If you have drug problems or alcohol problems, or even any of the other problems I mentioned above, you need to seek help. This will be harder for you to overcome if the weakness of addiction keeps lowering your resolve... And demon like entities will encourage this unhealthy behavior because it allows them to continue to feed off of you.

I didn't read much of the comments, so if this sounds similar I apologize. A friend of mine was possed by a demon once. And I thought as I asked him, what if he used faith or whatever, now apparently. If the demon is a full pledged evil one, which most are, getting rid of it with any type of God related things, sometimes is useless, because the demon would not be afraid of god. Its just a tip I learned, I know its probably not helpful but I just thought you should know just in case. But Try it anyways, wear a cross, and maybe use salt. I don't see spirits, I seen one that was it, I've felt a few, but my friend, hes very gifted, except he see's what no one should, pretty much all the bad spirits. Just remember if this spirit is very demon-evil using god related things will be useless sometimes.

This demon sounds like super bad news.
It sounds to me like your only trying the Christian/Catholic approach. It is possible that this demon does not come from the Christian Hell, but from another culture ir religion.
Most every religin has some form of demon, just in a diffrent name.
Religious objects can repel demons. Pentagrams hold demons.
Instead of throwing holy water on the demon, try telling it to leave you alone.
If all else fails, perform an exersim on the house or on yourself. (yes I can tell your not possesed, but it could be attached to you)
Follow the Light (yes, it sounds stupid, but its true) Light is everything good. Keep all negativity from your life. Don't hate the demon, he probally feeds off of your hate for it. Simply ignore it and feel sorry for it (after all it is just a subhuman formed from negativity)

Ok first of all I'm not hear to preach or anything along the lines I consider my body and soul here to help others as I have had similiar experience in a sense except I was face to face in darkness with a being I believe to be a demon (no I was not asleep I was wide awake along side my friend I can give you more details if you would like but this is a different story all together)...but you holding that as your fault that your friend died is not helping at all they have found peace and no pain they are fine... Believe me and as the other said the name demon doesn't mean evil spirit or anything along the lines its a form of spirit from origin (hell) one thing really bothered me though that name I have heard it before I don't know where but I know it so be warned it may want more then you know just be careful be aware of what's around you humans are capable of a lot more then we know (believe me I have done a lot of unexplained things happen or "supernatural") but if its one thing id like you to do and I'm not saying it will help or do anything at all is hold yourself firm not just your body use your mental state as a form of your spirit (this helps) and calmly ask if there is a purpose he is following you and or if there's no response or if it is bad (and again calmly) ask him to leave in your own words though you cannot have a poem from the heart that has been written by someone else and it is the same with words to others. No one wants to be misunderstood, so I guess it is fair to you to present what you believe based on logic, for we can't justify intuition at the time being.

If you really want it to be gone in your way. There are two possible way. A peaceful talk or force him/her by force.

Once you want to confront that spirit try not to bring something stupid that might provoke it. Holy water, cross or something you were told holy.

Pray to God for protection and ask His guidance. Try to meditate and clear your mind from worries.

Please be aware that during this confrontation there might be some weird instances. So I will suggest you to bring an anchor. Don't think stupid I mean ask somebody to be your anchor to this world.

We don't know if it will listen to you or not. As a summoner we are the ones responsible of returning them where they came from. Invoke your right as it's summoner and as his/her summoner it will listen to you.

An anchor is needed because during that confrontation he might take you to another dimension and without that anchor it will impossible for you to return unless a kind spirit will guide you home.

Get something that you might use. Bell, your favorite music or something that could caught your attention. Bells are favorable instruments and it will be the job of the anchor to ring it and that sound will be your guide in returning to your body in case that this demon will take you to another dimension.

Tell your friend to look out for your body while you are in the ritual. Tell him/her that you might fall into deep sleep and if you can't wake up tell her to play that sound or ring the bell or something you've agreed with.

As much as possible tell him/her that nobody should shake or touch your body while you are in that state. If that occurs it will be too hard for you to return even if you have your anchor.

Please beware that time difference occurs. Time might be great or just small or it might be equalized in your own time. In the spiritual realm the difference might be days or years.

An hour in the spiritual world might equate years in our human world. So please beware of it.

Now that you have your anchor. Let's get set to a bilateral talk:

Do you speak ancient languages? If you do your luck increase by 60% and if you know some dialect in astral world your luck increase by 70% but if you can communicate with him/her in Infernal your luck increase by almost 95%.

Spirits do most like to listen if you talk to them in ancient languages or in their languages. Like trading to a Chinese, if you talk like Chinese then you have the edge.

Don't be bothered if you don't know about it. What matters is honesty and pureness of intentions. Demons are too sensitive.

This is one of their tricks since if you show fear as what I have said it will craze them and force them to afflict you fear that your might tremble at it.

Stay normal even if it is scary. If it see that you aren't afraid of him/her and you can look at him/her at the eyes. Then you got his/her respect and it will tone down its appearance.

If it will, then doesn't face you at all don't get insulted by it. It is formality for them and at that he/she is listening at you. Ask and you will be answered.

If you succeed in your talks to him/her force him/her to agree on a contract full set of yours. Force him/her to oath. A contract or oath is sacred for them. If it is written and if they have spoken it will be even if death is be the result.

That is what we humans lacks word of honor that they have. So if it agreed and made and oath, expect that your life will not be disturbed anymore by him/her.

Contract is exclusive to him/her only and others are not involved. So it is possible that you will be haunted by another demon except by him/her.

P.S. This contract can not be rebuked by him/her except you as the summoner. If you intend to use him/her for evil sake please don't if they found out I doubt if your bloodline will still exist here on earth. Death and punishment will be the consequence.

Demons are not like what was thought on us. God created both us and them and we are both equal in eyes of God. God cares for us as well us them and God loves us both.

Here is my advice and I will base it with my very own experience in regard with yours. I have some sort of demon acquaintance for almost 11 years. This is might be parallel with you but it didn't harm any body she just chase it away from me.

Demons only give their names to those whom they like and who they wish to have friends with. Lack of will power and ignorance might cause an intensive harms to those who are near you and those who are not even aware of it.

Did you know that once a female demon like you will never stop no matter what. Duh! Yes it is true my friend, of all creatures created by God demons are the most ultimate jealous of all jealous.

Any body that will flirt on you or if they smell that this particular one likes you, the hell of her/him starts especially if you have consented the relationship or not. If that person wish to compete then battle to death is the agreement. All they want is your full attention, or at least your acknowledgement.

According to you your demon killed your girl. That is an absolute thing that this guys do when jealousy reaches their bones.

Be courageous. Ask that demon what it want on you and why it is haunting you. Don't be afraid, fearing them makes them crazy and will tempt them to make you tremble with fear.

Most of all, never attempt to lie on them. Demons hate humans that lies and uses them for evil. Approach them in a formal way.

Demons sometimes appears when you call them or they accidentally thought that you call them. I will ask you: have participated in some rituals or spirit summonings? If you does most likely that you summoned Alestor. That time might be fun for you but you didn't pause a moment and tries to see the burden that the ritual might bring.

Demons are also attracted with people who are empathic or has a weak spiritual defenses and with those who are benevolent. In rare cases liking a human is rare thought it is most likely to happen.

Demons have abilities to fake their true identity or even send a hologram like projections. Shape-shifting is trival for them so this it is possible for them to look like you or the scariest of all.

Demons especially the ones who are evil sometimes really crosses the lines. Harming, or even possessing humans are fun for them. They take this as an entertainment especially if they see that this human is weak. Not physically but spiritually.

Sometimes this is done by pack or gang of them. It is seldom if it moves alone. This might range from 2 or more and possible the entire troops. This guys maybe victim in their world or those who does not adhere the norms of their kind.

Having them really needs a well trained exorcist to seriously kick their buts.

I haven't commented on your story yet, but I've been following it. I'm quite concerned and I'd like you to answer honestly.

First of all, I looked up the name of the demon too, and I didn't get any clear answer. I think there could be more than one interpretation. I've heard of Alister Crowley, who was indeed an occultist, but just because the name you were given is similar it doesn't mean that it's him.
I don't think that it really matters what it's name is. The point is that this thing is bothering you. And, that fact that you don't seem certain about what you believe gives it power over you.

I suggest that you read through the suggestons others have left, and work out for yourself what exactly you believe, and what you feel you need to do to get this thing out of your life. There is no one magic formula that will work for everyone. How can you invoke a higher power if you don't believe in it? LouraFriend is right, it just won't work.

I find it strange that you don't believe in a god/gods, when you're being bothered by something supernatural. Most of the people who say they don't believe in god don't believe in the supernatural at all in my experience, and would laugh at a story such as yours. In my opinion, you're either confused, or in denial about what you believe. It is possible to think one thing with your head, and believe something entirely different in your heart. I've been there. Sort yourself out!

Finally, why is this demon in you life in the first place? I'm not convinced you've given us the whole story. Did you and/or your friends play with an Ouija board or other device? Watching horror movies? Have you been flirting with the supernatural without any real idea of what you're doing, and without proper protection? I don't want to come over as a wet blanket, but you have to be careful! It might seem like fun and games at first, but clearly, it's not a game, as I'm sure you know now. I don't believe that this demon has come from nowhere. People with light and love in their lives should not attract demons. It could be feeding off your very hatred of it!

1. "Alestor" happens to be the name of a very, very infamous man, Alister Crowley. Look him up. He was a guy who reveled in others calling him "Antichrist" and he was into some sick stuff. But he paved the way for modern Wicca and more.

3. All these other people posting are recommending you invoke the name of the God of the Bible just like any other spirit. Why would His name work above any other if He were not real and very powerful?

4. I'm not sure that invoking God's name if you do not really know Him would work to ward off demons. There is a story in the Bible of exactly this situation and it ends badly. Acts 19:13-20 (New International Version) See below.

5. If you have been giving yourself over to spirits (which I think are all demons), you have given control of your mind, body, and spirit to it/them. You need something/someone bigger and stronger, and whether you believe in Him or not, God is always there, waiting for you and He is on your side.

They would say, "In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out." 14Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15 (One day) the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?" 16Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.

17When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor. 18Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed their evil deeds. 19A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas.[a] 20In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.
