For years I have had dreams that some may consider "premonitions" along with "knowing" like knowing when my phone would ring before it did and also knowing who was going to call. I also frequently experience deja vu. I always thought that they were just weird coincidences. Now, I no longer believe in coincidences. I now know that something weird or possibly supernatural was happening.
I am a very vivid dreamer and I almost always remember my dreams. Several months ago, I had a dream where I was not myself but one of my good friends. In the dream, I (or my friend) answered the phone. On the other line was this guy we know "Jake..." On the phone, he said "I killed a man. It was all my fault..." Then the dream was over.
Now the freaky part. Last night, Jake was in a really bad car accident. He was hit by a motorcyclist going about 90 miles an hour. The motorcyclist was killed almost instantly. Jake's car blew up and the people who witnessed it thought Jake had died too until he jumped out of the car seconds later. He escaped with nothing but 2nd degree burns on his hands. Then later on, he called my friend, his now girlfriend and the one I had been in the dream. He called her and said to her "I killed a man and it's all my fault..." Then he was silent for a long time until he told her what happened.
I never believed in things like deja vu or premonitions but now, how can I doubt their existence?
