When I was 11, we moved into a new house that we had built. Strange things started to happen to me and everyone put it down to stress of moving schools. The tv would constantly change channels, the gas heater turned itself on even though it wasn't plugged in, things would go missing only to turn up in strange places and my cd player would always be on.
I always heard someone calling my name. When I asked my mum what she wanted, she looked at me weird and said that she didn't call me. It was driving me insane! I would always hear a female voice loud and clear.
One night I woke up to a black shadow sitting on my bed. Unable to move or scream it felt like I was being held down. When the shadow went I ran down to my mum and freaked out!
My family thought I had lost the plot, so off to the doctor we'd go who just put it down to attention seeking. About 6 months after all these things were happening we received a visit from a lady who used to work with my dad but they hadn't seen each other in 10yrs. She told us she had won the lotto but her partner took all the money and ran off, then she got sick with cancer. When her life had hit rock botto,m she joined a church and became very spiritual. She also had polio and 1 leg was shorter than the other but a miracle had happened and her cancer had vanished and her leg had grown too.
She asked my about my hearing problem. I wasn't sure what she meant as I had perfect hearing. Then she asked about the voices I had heard. Then she made my parents sit each side of me and to hold a hand each then she put her hand on my forehead then her eyes rolled back in her head and she talked some weird language (I later found out it was called talking in tongues). After she had cleansed me she said this is the reason she came to visit, then we never heard or saw her again.
