Hello, my name is Lauren. I am a 28 year old new mother and I seem to be experiencing some weirdness. For a while now I have been having these uncomfortable dreams, almost nightmares. I will be sleeping and then notice a "ghost" standing next to or in front of my bed. Every time that I could remember, the ghost was of a male gender. The last 3 times have been over a course of about one year, possibly a little less.
Last night's incident was a young boy, he was about 8 or 9 years old and he was wearing all white. He was standing on the left side of my bed next to myself and my daughter's bassinet. He was just standing there staring at me. He also appeared to be glowing slightly. I'm not sure if that's because he was wearing all white or not. The time before that, it was an older gentleman. This time, he was wearing all black with a black fedora. He was standing at the top of my bed on the right side (I sleep on the left side ). I can never see their faces, just silhouettes and they always seemed to be in draping clothing. I don't really remember much of the other episodes I have had, mainly these because these have been the most recent.
It is quite scary, especially because it wakes me up and my heart is racing. My husband gets scared too because I jump out of the bed. I'm not sure if this means anything, but if it does, I would love to know what. If anyone has any suggestions, or any ideas I would love to hear it. Thank you so much!
