I had a dream that was very specific in nature. I was in a place and around people I could recognize or have ever seen before. But everything was specific. The faces, the court, the bleachers, the feeling I felt at that time. I later awoke only to be very confused. I had never had a dream so specific or foreign before.
Throughout the day I was trying very hard to figure out what and why I had experienced, only Later to be fulfilled in exactly where I was in my dream.
I saw the exact faces, in the exact same setting, with the exact same feeling. Once, my head turned a certain way and saw the exact view I did in my dream. My whole body and brain froze and I realized that I had seen this exactly before. I was the most taken back I have ever been. This has happened sparingly since then but without as much detail. After a phrase is said or an angle is exposed to my brain, I remember exactly seeing that before. I have had deja vu before but never have been able to pinpoint the feeling and coordination of my visions.
There are some I have had that I am still waiting to fulfill, including dying by multiple gun shots. Due to my impatience this may be come off as unedited. I am in no doubt what so ever that what I have envisioned and felt was real.
These sorts of dreams seem to come in two categories:
- The events or places are fairly mundane and don't have much impact on my life; in these cases, they represent things I experience very soon afterwards (within a week or so).
- The events or places have a big significance, but I don't come across the real events or places until much later, typically years. So far, all the "premonitions" of this type (if they are premonitions) have been sad at best, horrific at worst.
Like you, I once had a very vivid dream of meeting my death by being shot. I was killed by a firing squad. I've also had vivid dreams about "the end of the world". I never thought they might be premonitions at the time, but looking at current world events, I definitely think the "end of the world" - or at least of our civilisation - has a high chance of happening in my lifetime.
