I knew when I was in second grade that I was special. For most of my childhood, I was only able to see my dad every other weekend. My mom worked very hard to support my brother and I, then eventually she remarried as my dad did. Both of my parents have claimed they have experienced very unusual things in their pasts.
After my dad's father died, he and my mom went to mourn at his grave. The sun was getting warm so they decided to get back to the car. As they were walking, they noticed this man sitting on what looked to have been a bench on the top of this small hill. It was said, he was waiting a straw hat, flannel red striped shirt on, rolled up at the sleeves, and long denim bibs on. My parents had this feeling of his father's presence. So, they decided to walk up this hill and try talking to this man. By the time they got to the top, the man was gone. Baffled by the quickness of his departure, they noticed that there was not a bench at the top of the hill!
When my dad was living with my mom under my grandmother and grandfather's roof, my dad was pushed with a force from the front bedroom closet.
When my mom was old enough to baby-sit, she experienced more of a direct contact from something unexplainable. She had the kids in bed asleep, when she decided to do her homework. In the corner of the room (about 4 feet away), a rocking chair started rocking at full speed. She panicked and rushed over to see what cause this wooden chair to go hay wire! That same night, the stereo turned on all by itself. It was plugged in but she wasn't taking any chances, so she unplugged the stereo from behind the entertainment center. My mom also admitted that she was experimenting with the Ouija board before all these occurrences happened. She also told me stories from when she was younger and all the spirits she had seen. It was like she attracted them.
Can spirits travel through the cables? Do they really generate energy from our power sources or energy?
My father was different. He had the ability to know when someone was going to call or come by the house. He would tell my mom exactly who they were and pretty much what they wanted. One night he arose from his sleep. He said it's an emergency. My brother is going to be knocking at our door. 5 minutes later it was his brother, knocking at the door. Someone in our family was in the hospital. That was the emergency! As far as I know, he did not dream it. He has also reported stories from when he was a kid. Like when he lived in this 2 story farm house. There were sounds of a little girl running upstairs, laughing.
Is this ability genetic?

I am not really sure what the name for my abilities are. I really am scared to talk about it cause I don't want to be judged as crazy! I had some issues when I was younger and I have been on an anti depressant since I was 15. Cant that affect abilities? Could a near death experiance bring me closer to my ablities as well?
Even though my family had these abilities we just don't talk about it. My mom had been diagnosed with mutiple personalities and since then she only mentioned seeing a spirit like once or twice. (I hope that is not genetic!)
I tried talking to my husband about it but he thinks there is an explanation for everything. WE have such a good connection but such a language barrier between us. I feel I can't practice on my abilities with him around. Bet let me start from the beginning...
Since I was little I had a feeling I was special. It started around when I was 3 years old, I'd have these repeated dreams, then DeJaVu.
As I got older I started experimenting and learning, I began seeing and conversating mostly through mind with the spirits I came across. Even deseased family members!
About 6 to 8 months ago I had completly lost all ablities until about 2 1/2 months ago right before my daughter was born. MY LIfe changed I don't know if it was because of the horomes of the pregnacy or what!
At First I started getting these bad migraines. I thought it was from stress but they seemed like something more than just migranes or stress. After that started, I was coming into my home with groceries one day as I walked thorugh the living room: I had a real Powerful vision. (I Never had a vision while awake) IN Dreams Yeah but not like this. It was so real. I was boarding up the windows in the house and I was even wairing the same clothes in my vision as I had on that day. What was this vision trying to tell me? DO you think it has something to do with hurricane season about here? It'll be my first!
I am always hearing my husband whispering awful things underneath his breath (things we wouldn't usually say) but when I ask him "what did you say?" He tells me nothing. I even pushed the matter on him. Telling him I know what he is thinking but he even denies thinking anything. There have been plenty of times where I have actually thought really hard about the situation and the only thing I can come up with is that I can read his mind. I can hear the things that he will not even say outloud let alone to my face. I always think its just me hearing things, but unlike these new abilities I have been hearing it only from him for about 2 years now! Does this mean I am a mind reader?
I also have this sense when people are talking about me. Like the other day for example I was Hanging up laundry and I just started getting intense feelings to the point I had to stop what I was doing. It felt like certain family members of mine were talking bad about me! It just made me feel bad.
There is another thing I can do! When my palm itches a certain way I know I am going to recieve money and it usually happens! What ability would that fall under?
WEll, sorry so long... I am just experiancing some things I need help with! Anyone have any advice let me know!
