Over the last month I have been losing my mind:
Odd dreams, becoming almost exact reality. Random, really. Things like clothes people wear on a certain day in unfamiliar surroundings, everything down to the last detail of clothing, but shaky as far as the physical surroundings and extra people. The weather is always dead on lol, just random man.
Then I hear stuff like phones ringing and knocks on the door. I answer, either one, and I have answered the phone supposedly before it ever rang, or opened the door long before the visitor made it to the front porch.
I know it's nothing super amazing, but odd. So I began a little questioning and "self mocking", about my experiences as not to come off like a weirdo.
Then, upon reflecting, there are little things over the years that have occurred; stuff that I need some help with, some answers to, yadda yadda yadda. You'll see what I mean.
I spoke with my father about it, and when he was in high school, he has similar experiences. His were a little more traumatic. Houses burning down and car wrecks, suicides and fights. All of these came to him as dreams, and did not occur until months later. He told me tales of his mother, calling him at their home, and immediately, without being provoked, she asked "What?!"
Dad wanted to borrow the car and didn't have the guts to call and ask, he said he was considering taking it without permission, and that was when she called him. When he asked her about it, she was unsure what to say to him, she said he called her and kept hanging up. Dad thinks she didn't want to admit to it. He swears up and down, he never called her once that day.
I did some further reasearch to explain some of my odd sleeping habits, I am awake, but not, and I can see myself, as I walk around my room. I learned it was a type of or...whatever...it's called astral projection. Upon learning this, I tried to force it, or you know, just MAKE it happen. But to no avail, ever since I tried to recreate that dream state, I haven't experienced it at all. But it's better than any sleep aid I've ever taken, I don't mind telling you!
While speaking to my mother one evening over the phone, I learned that at the age of five I predicted the death of two family pets, through dreams, and expressed to her a fear about a "night on the town" my sister was planning on enjoying, that turned into her being beaten by her boyfriend and winding up two towns away with no ride or phone.
I pleaded with mom, over and over again to "Go get Sis!" And she thought I was crazy, but, never the less, she took me for a little drive around town to shut me up.
We found my sister walking down a lonely highway at midnight, being harassed by two drunk construction workers that happened to be driving by that very same stretch two lane highway. There were no street lights at the time. All I remember about that night is that that road was very dark and the moon was completely covered by clouds. Also, it rained for three days after that...lol...random.
That's all I can personally recall about that night.
My mother told me the rest of that story just before she passed.
So, there's the "Story" I suppose, I am merely here to learn more and see if maybe I just have a deep sense of connection with my family, or if possibly, I can learn to use this appropriately/more generally.
And make it a useful resource, or...
Well let's be honest, a new toy.
=)
Um,
The end...
And yes, talents are our little toys 😉.
Anyway, I hope this helped! Feel free to e-mail me anytime, I'd be glad to talk more. My e-mail is on my profile page. Good Luck!
Ciao for Now--
