I am obsessed with the show Paranormal State. One day while watching it, I thought to myself, "I wonder if I have any psychic/medium abilities?" I had very few experience before that would lead me to believe that I could be, but I figured it was worth a shot. I tried channeling for the first time last month. I opened myself up and got into contact with my mother's late cousin. Since then I have contacted a handful of people by asking my mother to give me a name of someone she knew that passed and then trying to receive any info. It is hard for me to get a grasp on the gift because when I channel I get words or images or sounds that just "pop" into my head. They are almost always correct, but most of the time I don't know where these things fit into the person's story.
I really want to be able to enhance my ability so that I may know more than the random bits that I get. How do I pull people closer to me so that I can "hear" more? And also, I only try to contact those who I get names from other living people, but I would like to be able to reach people whom I don't know. I guess, in a way, I would like to get information without having to initially ask. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

I think you should just keep practicing with this and over time what you can do will begin to develop more and youll be to do these things easier. It does take patience and understanding so try and work on some of that too 😊
