I am new to this site and I am looking for others with similar abilities;
A lot of people have wrote how they started out just messing around when they were younger and noticed that they could control wind but discarded it as child play.
I did this also, in roughly year 4 (aged 8 or 9), and I used to get really annoyed when we had to line up outside of school at break when it was cold and raining and windy so I used to make the wind stop.
I never thought it through and soon stopped as I went to secondary school but around 2 months ago I was walking to the bus stop and the wind was so strong and it triggered me to remember the times I stopped it when I was younger so I tried again expecting no results what so ever but to my surprise after a few seconds of quite intense focusing it stopped.
Ever since that occurred I have been practicing more and more and I have now managed to reduce strong winds to a light breeze or less:) which seems easy compared to making the wind stronger but I have got quite good at this too and can make wind strong enough that it makes trees start to sway.
I believe that the reason stopping the wind is easier is because I am not actually stopping it I am merely diverting it around me.
I have tried other types of element control mainly fire and water, with fire I haven't had brilliant results just managing to put out a flame from quite a few feet back but I think that may be the wind I create and with water I can move things on the surface of water but not in the water so again I think that is the wind element so it would seem I cannot control anything but wind.
I would like it if anyone with any abilities similar would just share their stories and any tips you may have:) and also if anyone has tried other elements and had some luck...
Anyone On this great site can contact me on j_wind - at - live.co.uk

Take a feather and place it in an overturned glass on a table top. Once the feather is isolated in the overturned glass focus on it and try and make it float (the feather... Not the glass)
Please record your attempts and post a link to the results I'd love to see what happens.
Respectfully,
