I Can Sense The Past

II am a 27 year old woman and for years I have been able to sense the past. Within the past 10 years I have become more and more attuned to what I can sense and feel. Frankly, I am pretty freaked out by it. I am not sure where to go or what to do. So, I have come here to share my experiences with you and just get this out all out and see what others think about what I have been experiencing.

Over the past 10 years I have found that at times I can sense the past. Sometimes I just get a vague feeling other times I am able to get very distinct impressions such as people and events. For example, I was at a wedding rehearsal dinner. This took place at an old mansion with a large beautiful yard. I had never in my life been to this place and had never heard of it. It took place in a city close to where I live, but I had never been there. The dinner took place in the back of the mansion outside in a newly constructed area. After dinner we were walking around the grounds and I got very distinct feelings. Someone died here tragically. There was also a young child here that was in pain. I did not see anything, I just felt it and knew it. I had impressions of it. It was so bizarre that I went home and told my fiancé about it. I was so freaked out I made him take me back out there the following week. Well, on our return trip we found out that where the dinner was held was on the property where multiple suicides had happened. We also found out that a young boy was kept pretty much prisoner inside of the place. I was super freaked out as was my fiancé.

Another time this happened was when my fiancé and I were sight seeing at an area state park. We went to a look out area and I just got this horrible feeling. There was death. So much death. I started to get very upset and started to cry. I told him we had to leave. Well, a few weeks later I was talking to a coworker. I knew he lived in the area of the park and I asked him if he knew anything about the specific look out area's past (it is an large concrete structure that is several stories high that looks out over a river). He told me that it was built on a area where there used to be a sanitarium. People were forced to stay there during a local yellow fever outbreak. Thousands and thousands of people died there. So, needless to say I was pretty freaked out by that too.

Aside from those 2 stories, I have also sensed where someone had died years before I was born at a local lake. There are many other incidents which I have not been to prove so to speak, but I know they are real. I know what I sense must have happened, I have just not discovered the historical evidence to back it up or it is not documented (such as murder I know happened in the local woods back in the 1970s). It seems that I have to be in an area to get the impressions.

Sorry that was so long. What do you think is going on here? I do not know if I am physic or what. Do other people experience things like this? I have read about people seeing things like ghost, but what about just knowing and getting impressions? Are there any online support groups for people that have issues like mine? Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated!
