My first paranormal experience occurred when I was nine. I was camping at a Girl Scout's camp (which, naturally, was located less than thirty feet from a graveyard) and we were sleeping in a building. All the other girls were asleep, except for me. Attempting to get to sleep, I turned towards the door, which swung open slowly. At first I thought it was the air currents, but then a figure stepped into the cabin. Since it was a Girl Scout camp, there were no boys, and the figure was definitely male. I was terrified, so I closed my eyes tightly. When I opened them, the man was standing over me. In the back of my head, I heard a voice whisper, "Don't move". I know I hadn't told myself that because when I think I always hear my own voice, and the voice I heard was masculine and older-sounding. I didn't move, and the dark man leaned over and whispered something. I couldn't hear what it was, but I remember thinking that it sounded sinister. The door had closed by the time the man reached it, but he simply walked through it.
The next morning, I was sick to my stomach and coughing a lot. It was the same the next day, but the day we left camp I felt a whole lot better (my sickness was not due to homesickness, of that I am sure). I'm still not sure who it was that warned me to keep still.
I have also had a scary vision the night before last, while I was lying half-awake in bed. There was a window with raindrops on it, and a forest in the background, and suddenly a black hand slapped across it and scared me so badly that I screamed.
I've also come to notice that when I'm near an Ouija board, a pack of Tarot cards, or I think there's an invisible someone nearby, my entire left arm tingles.
Can anyone explain this please?
