Top Hat

I was telling my story to a couple of my co-workers the other day and one of them suggested I visit this site. I never knew anything about this site or the hat man or top hat man. But I guess they have. So here's my story. I was in my house getting ready for bed when around midnight my two dogs started barking like crazy. So I went to the living room to see what the problem was. The dogs were at the front window, hair standing up on there backs, barking like crazy. I looked out the window and saw a tall figure in a top hat walking down the street. So I put my shoes on and went outside. It may have taken me 30 seconds to slide into my tennis shoes. By the time I got outside the figure was gone, just disappeared and the dogs were no longer barking. But wait this story gets better. About a year later I bought a pickup from a guy and had to take him to motor vehicle s to get the title straightened out. On our way there our conversation was about the town I live in. It's a mountain community and slot of people say it's haunted etc. The guy asked me if I believe in spirits, ghosts etc. I told him not really. I've only lived in the community for a short time. Well anyway he was telling me a story about when his grandfather passed away, the last thing his grandfather said to him was... Watch out for the man in the brown top hat. Wow! That's when I told him my story. I get goose bumps right now. Scary... I really don't know what to think about it and I haven't given it much thought. But when I do think about it it gives me goose bumps. I know what I saw.
