Strange Work Story

I have had many experiences that has lead me to the long time conclusion I am an empath. This sensitivity has served me very well and has saved my life on several occasions. Recently when I was working a Night Shift I was staking out a residential street. I work as a Traffic Cop/ Police Officer. I had been told earlier that a driver speeds in the area regularly like clock work and it had become very dangerous. Something told me I had to catch this driver. I couldn't get this impulse out of my mind so I followed my gut. I waited for 20 minutes and a car sped past me well in excess of the speed limit so I stopped it. The driver was a criminal I knew instantly. He has a long history of violence and drug dealing. He was not happy to have been caught speeding and soon he became abusive and threatening. He was arrested when he made verbal threats against me and my family. He was charged and bailed later from the Police Station. The criminal failed to appear in Court and a warrant for his arrest was issued. While I was away on leave my colleagues acted and they arrested him at his rural address. Drugs, stolen vehicles, firearms and property from numerous burglaries was located. I have worked as a Cop for 24 years and I have had numerous gut feelings that I have followed up on. Previously I have stopped robberies, an attempted murderer/ rapist and burglars. I cannot explain this gut feeling, but it is best described as a push or shove in my mind to get me to go in a certain direction to be at a certain place at a certain time. It still amazes me the sequence of events that lead to this criminals apprehension. I do believe in karma.

Hi Anne

Sorry I haven't replied. I just logged on and took a look. I do believe these feelings/ gifts get passed on as well.

I am fast approaching my 25th year of service and not a day goes by where I don't rely on my sixth sense as such.

I look at my son and I can tell he is probably more sensitive to these matters than I. He feels what others feel. In time I will explain it to him as he is only 6.

I am still amazed how people react to me. A lot of really bad crimminals get abusive and angry. I just notice it more than others as I am around them a lot. I can be present just as back up not being directly involved and they go crazy towards me.

I had a 15 year old get abusive last night. I can tell he is the worst of the worst. It is only a matter of time before he hurts someone. Sad thing there is nothing I can do about it at this time.

I appreciate your time and kind words

Regards

Ken

You have definitely served the community well by following your 'gut instinct'. I have said many times that because we all are of spirit, we all do have the potential for extra sensory perception, whether it's a hunch, gut feeling, a dream, deja vu, a vibe, etc. We all may have different labels for it and experience it at various levels, but it's still a subtle perception or awareness that is outside the 'normal' senses.

I have always been fascinated by police work, especially detective work. My grandfather was the Chief of Police where I was born and though I did not know him at all (family issues), I felt not only something was passed down, like a trait or interest, but also that he's sometimes with me, especially after watching hours of Forensic Files and The First 48!

I really appreciate you posting here and sharing some of your experiences.

Welcome and cheers.

Anne 😁
