Last night was hot and humid. I was alone and laying on the couch around 2 am watching TV, and I started feeling tiny, cool drops of water on my face. It wasn't raining outside and I was not near any doors or windows (which were shut anyway). I checked the ceiling but it was dry.
Another strange thing was the the drops landed in different areas on my face, not all in the same place as you might expect from a leaking faucet type of drip. The first landed on my right cheek, one landed under my left eye, then one on my chin. They were different sizes too, the first one was definitely bigger than the others. Then there were a few very tiny ones as well, again on my face.
I am convinced it's a ghost, possibly the one I've captured orb pictures of in my living room.
I'm not sure WHY a ghost would be hovering over my face and have only one or two ideas about the ghost itself, but I have a theory as to HOW it is possible.
Many people experience a cold draft or icy cold air in the area that a ghost is in. I'm not sure what the connection is between ghosts and cold air, but if you are in an area where the air is warm and humid then it makes sense that the drop in temperature because of a ghost could condense the water vapor in the air to drops of liquid water.
I'm comparing the drops of water I felt to the dew point temperature which is the temperature to which a given air parcel must be cooled at in order for saturation to occur (from the American Meteorological Association definition). So basically, when the air becomes saturated with water vapor (humid, water filled air) and the temperature drops below a certain point - the dew point - (ghost temperature?) condensation will form.
I've just started researching this, so if anyone has any opinions, comments or questions feel free to contact me. Also, any information proving or disproving my theory would be helpful.
