About cleansing with Divine Light, I am sure there are good books and websites about that subject. But for me, it comes from experience so I know what works.

Thank you Boson! I will keep you in mind if things take a turn for the worse for whatever reason. Do you have any recommended reading regarding use of the divine light for cleansing or do you use what you know from experience?

I have never used smudging so I don't know how effective it is and if will permanently cleanse your space. I always use the Divine Light when I do cleansing work and/or removal of entities. It works very well for me (or rather for the people I help). You can certainly do a smudging and see if that will result in a permanent removal. Otherwise I can help you out with a cleaning if your situation become dire (click on my profile to contact me).

Hi Boson, thanks for your input. I will be sure to protect myself. Do you have any tips on a permanent cleansing? Will this be different than what I plan with smudge materials I have? Or do you mean it will make a difference when someone experienced is using those materials?

Many good advice already. Here is my own practical advice: Protect your body spiritually and also have someone experienced to cleanse your house to permanently remove all active and lingering darkness around you. Just let me know if you need help with any of that.

That is a good idea to ask my guide (s) for some insight. I am too scared to try and talk to the shadow thing, it creeps me out.

I believe I may have already had a dream that was a warning to this. I had a lucid dream I was driving with my family down a highway and as we approached this clump of trees I knew there was something evil there. As we passed by this building I yelled F you at the evil spirit. A cross flashed in front of me telling me it was a church. Then we passed it and the dream started over again and the same thing happened. So I was able to take a good look at the church.
It was bugging me that I knew it wasn't a regular dream. I ended up looking at over 300 photos of churches that stand or have in the past in my province. I narrowed it down to 1 church. The exact church. It so happens I pass this church to go out to the BIL's. It is not far away and is the oldest church of its style standing in the province. I have never seen the church in person even though it is right off the highway because the trees and bush surround it so you can't see it unless you drive onto the property. So either it was a warning to stay away from that church or maybe related to the shadow man. I think maybe because my BIL said recently that this thing turned a cross in his house upside down. I thought of my dream when he said that.

The herbs I have are white sage, sweet grass, cedar and tobacco. If it is about the disrespect the tobacco will be a good offering, I was not going to use it but maybe it could help if it is about the disrespect. If he doesn't change his attitude and ways there is only so much I can do though.

If it is the clown of the Heyoka they do everything backwards so look for any signs of black and white and lightning with answers: yes means no. No means yes.
They can walk or ride the horse racing the hind of the horse.

It is not always the case but shadow can be deceased people.
According to tradition some medicine people do shape shifting.
In our dreams we can do this as well. That is called the dream body. So if you find yourself changing during the dream it was a requirement for communication.

Cleansing the home you can use herbs on a charcoal or bound up with a red string.
But you might wish to check what herbs.
In the Southwest are my dads people use sage and cedar rosemary and Tobacco or deserves as to draw the good spirits.
I like to clean the home and then use pineapple or dettol.
The Dettol can be used in the laundry washer or salt crystals do not use both.

Depending how you work?
If prayerfully just ask how you can appease?
If you work practically ask your main guide to speak and bring back wisdom and knowledge. I normally meditate and then ask my guides rub my hands together and send out a ball aka orb asking my guides to enter and view. Look at your dreams it may take a few tries.
It also depends if your mind does remote viewing or combines with symbols. So upon awakening take notes as the knowledge and wisdom will be there. If symbols use a book for interpretation and if you want confirmation ask. I like Mary SummerRain she was helped by a Native to write it.

There are ways of moving out the BIl relative. And you can ask about it without ever speaking to relative. If money into home is important you can check into how the rest of relatives can get by without his income. One question at a time. Native and nature are our friends and they do not hesitate to help a good soul. It will be nice to hear how it works out. It may be that the relative needs to continue being annoyed by spirit but you and the rest are left in peace. Some people are better off for odd reasons.

I wanted to mention also that this past weekend when I was out there I saw the shadow figure turn to black smoke and make it's way towards the ceiling in the hall and go into the bedroom that occupies the corner of the house it hangs around. I hate the thought because that is the bedroom of my 6 month old niece >: (

MuDurga I never knew about Ley lines so I will check it out. This is exactly what I was looking for was things I know exist but never heard of. Because I know what I see is something specific but it is something I have no knowledge of yet... If that makes sense.

PathR, you may have hit something. My BIL hunts, fishes and disrepects the land, and I have been given the impression before that the area (not his house but the town and bush area surrounding for many miles) is being watched by natives to the land and they are disgusted with the people there because they disrespect the land and animals there. I actually told my husband this a couple months ago that the spirits there are disgusted at the amount of disrespect. I feel if not inter-dimensional it is someone who is choosing to be seen as a shadow figure. They don't want people to know who/what they are. The head dress idea would make a lot of sense why so tall. My BIL is a negative kind of person too so I could see that he attracted something that he pissed off.

The land gives off a lot of energy its a difficult read. If there was a picture of the corner you mention with a part of the land it would be easier.

It feels human with a head dress of sorts so it appears tall.
But gives off resonance of being there to divert hunters and those that would disrespect the land. If your relative has participated in hunting or fishing to excess they need to stop. If they participate in building they need to show respect to the land.

If there is any water running under the home from a well or steam this also increases felling and activity. Or if the home cross converges with other things.

Ley lines can also attract these entities. Suggestion: prayerfully and remotely ask your Spirit team to help as well as invite additional experienced guides who can help clear any ley lines of non-beneficial energy, close non-beneficial portals, and clear any geo-pathic stress and clear curses in and around the dwelling and remove the entity. For the best and highest good of all concerned through all dimensions, time frames, frequencies and realities.

That usually works for me in similar situations I have dealt with. Also ask for an ever changing energy matrix be put around the dwelling and intend it to stay there for as long as is necessary so there no further problems again, this matrix needs to be installed with the prayer for the Best and Highest Good of all concerned. Good Luck and have confidence you and your Spirit team can do this clearing work.

While I am not sure as to what exactly it is you are dealing with. I will tell you I had a similar experience. A black figure that would wake me in the middle of the night. Mine was just yelling at me and shaking the bed. Scaring me on purpose. I got the sense that it was mocking me.

Smudging only worked temporarily for me. I had to create a sort of barrier. Kind of like expressing my will out throughout my home. Which that only worked temporarily as well. I wasn't left alone until I got sick of it and told it off. Saying if it wanted my attention it could surely go about it in a different manner and that if it did not stop disturbing me I would do everything I can to get rid of it permanently.

I haven't really been bothered by it since. However I do get the feeling I'm being watched if I talk about it. It never did any real harm towards me. But I do advise you to be extremely careful. While that particular entity did not harm me, there was another encounter I had.

Really it was my own fault I was attacked because I dived head first into something and didn't take precautions afterwards. I basically cast a circle to lend support to a friend and did not bother to ask what it was my friend was doing and did not set up proper protection for when I was finished.

Whatever it was he was doing pissed something off to the extreme. Resulting in me receiving intense pain and barley being able to move for a few hours.

My advise to you is to continue with the smudging, but don't forget to protect yourself as well. Another suggestion I have is to try and discover the name of what it is. I know the name of what was bothering me the first time, which helped immensely.

Just remember, never say the name. Always take precautions. And if you do cast a circle and spell to get rid of it, the name will come in handy at that time.

A friend of mine also had a similar problem, but had her house cleansed by someone she knows and from what I hear it was definitely a fight. If what your brother in law is experiencing is anything like that malevolence, I wish you the best of luck and only hope no one is severely injured.
