How To Tell If You Are Truly Psychic?

I'm very unsure of how to know if I am psychic/medium or not. I've had dreams of the future ever since I was very young, and a week later they would be exactly the same. I can tell what is going to happen next if I had a dream about it, but the dreams only predict a few seconds - maybe up to thirty - and they don't happen often. I also know what someone is feeling based on their vibes, and I'm almost positive I can read auras. Recently, I have even guessed some lottery numbers correctly, in the exact order. Although, the problem is that I didn't guess ALL the lottery numbers correct, just most of them. With the same lottery, I guessed a state within the United States of which there would be a winner. There were three winners, one in the state I had guessed. I had gotten vibes of another state that had a winner, but I didn't exactly think there would be another winner. I've also guessed answers to questions I haven't even heard, and I've got them right.

Though, I don't think I have a very well defined ability. As seen with the lottery ticket, if I do have an ability, it's not very strong. I want to grow and get better, but I'm not totally sure if I'm just super lucky and that this is all coincidental or if I actually have some ability. I've tried the tests on here, but they all say I'm fairly normal, which I would agree with. So how do I know if I have some supernatural or paranormal abilities? If I do have any, then how do I develop them? Being a psychic or medium interests me and I would really like to know how I can become better at channeling my energy and becoming better at many different things like clairvoyance and certain abilities like astral projection.

I think my main problem is that I think to much about my gut instinct and don't go with it. If that is the case, how can I override that feeling and just go with my gut?

Any responses are greatly appreciated.

Homie chan

Maybe you should try tarot cards or Palm readings. Definely do some research on these before making a decision though, for your own good.

I get what you're saying about her needing to be careful about tooth the bad and the good that comes with this sort if stuff. I've seen and felt more bad than good in my life and my abilities aren't that strong.

And I wish there was a reply button on this site.

The best thing to do is 1. Practice working on what you just listed. 2. Research this stuff^ and other things. Even advice (don't always have to listen to it. 3. Definitely make sure you're safe when doing this and are comfortable with it... 4. Remind your self to listen to your gut instinct more often. Maybe think why you should listen to it. There have been times where I didn't listen to my gut instincts and I regretted it, nothing but bad happened when I ignored my gut instincts.

Homie-Chan,

I see your uncertainty, and I think, before seeking out whether you are a "psychic" (I don't really like using labels), or not, to first understand youself. Why you want to be one, and how would it help you? Would it help only you or someone else as well? What are your motives?

In truth, all people are born with the same potential of developing the same "gifts". It's just that some realize it, some are born having realized it, and some never do. I think, some inner self search would be quite helpful and would definitely guide you to the right desicions.Spirituality, has a good side but it also has a bad side, a really dark one, and with the wrong motives or lack of understaning and knowledge, you might fall right into it. So, my friend, think before you begin digging deeper, of what you want, what you will find and how ready you are to face what you are to discover. I have seen both sides, and that's the only reason why I feel I ought to advice you.

If you would like to discuss this more, don't hesitate to email me. I have my email up in my profile:) I would love to have a deeper discussiong with you on this, if you wish also, and give any advice or help I can, or answers you might be seeking.

Hi homie-chan,

I would agree that it sounds like you have a psychic ability. The thing with being psychic that many forget about is that you are only allowed to know about the future up to a certain limit. If you would see details beyond that point it would affect your free will or others free will -and that cannot happen. It's like a universal law that applies to knowing what has not yet happened. That's why you didn't get all the details in the dreams you wrote about.

I think now is a good time for you to cultivate and learning how to control your psychic gift, so it can benefit from it yourself and others. After all the reason people have been given a gift, no matter what kind, is to use it. Or at least have the option to use it. Here is one thing you can try (which works well for me). Before you go to sleep (or before going into deep meditation which takes you into the same state), ask a question what you would like to know about in your future. Pick a question that can be verified in the not too far future. I would not be surprised if you get answers in some form in your dreams. It may not come the first night, then wait at least a week. Of course, you would have to be able to remember your dreams.

I hope that helps a little.

First, let me define what a medium is. A medium isn't just a generic term for "vibes", ok. A medium is a person you can call/summon, see and converse with the supernatural, in particular spirits. From what youve described, you have: premonitions, possibly a weak form of psychometry, maybe auric seeing, and precognition. So to answer your question. No you are not a medium, yes you are a psychic. And for the mass majority of psychics, abilities aren't like skills, they can not be learned or taught. So your probability of becoming clairvoyant or being able to astral project, is not likely. Possible? Possibly, if one of your current abilities strengthens and expands maybe. Some naturally awaken more gifts as they age. Can your current abilities be stregthened, even expanded upon? Yes, they can be. I can help you do such, I can even help you find if you have the possibility for anymore abilities. I can help you establish you're psychic strength and psychic type. Have anymore questions, feel free to email me at hecatesmagicspell [at] yahoo.com

Dear homie-chan
First everybody is medium, only the degrees are different, for instance detect a bad vibe from a place is a type of mediumship.
Yes you are a medium, as well everybody, difference is your ability is growing, can evolve or diminish depending the use, practice and study.
In case you are curious to know more about, look on The Mediuns' Book both by Allan Kardec

Good study!

Hi Chan, your probably psychic, forget the tests the future doesn't work like that, only you will know if you can see the future or not, there is no way to prove otherwise. Read some of my previous posts or story, you'll probably be able to relate to a lot of it, I don't comment on any of the other stories except for ones similar to yours.
