Dream Visitations

I have always had gut feelings, intuition type feelings before things happen to people I know. Passing them off as coincidences most of time. I think I felt this way a little more as a younger woman. Now I am 67 years old, and I'm experiencing subtle things again. I retired early, shortly before my husband's health began to go downhill. One month before he passed, my mother also passed. I took care of both of them before they passed, but miss my hubby most of all. He was a precious, giving and amazing human being to me, and very intelligent, an expert electrician, great carpenter, mechanic, and Mr. Fix it. He liked Carl Sagan and sci-fi. We loved to watch all the B rated sci fi flicks together. We were definitely a couple. I miss my husband and want to believe we will meet up again. I think he's still around sometimes. I also often have visitation like dreams from him, or is it wishful thinking? In my dreams he doesn't talk, but shows affection, many caresses. I am not sure what to think about this. These dreams are always welcome to me. Recently, I had a dream with him and our little dog that I had put down last year in it. In this dream, I saw my hubby who was leaving for work, in his worn t-shirt, jeans and baseball style cap. He indicated that he would be back later. Next, as the dream continued, I was lying down on the bed and began feeling my dog licking and moving around at the top of my head, then felt my body buzzing/vibrating and it seemed like I was slipping or being pulled off the bed. I was afraid but curious at the same time. Felt like I was trying to scream but couldn't. Then I woke up and my body had not moved at all. Took a few seconds to calm down from the experience. Any explanation for this would be appreciated.
