I was just laying in bed in the middle of the night, and I was a bit sick, so my coughing had been keeping me up. I was scrolling down my Facebook feed when I hit a post that was a meme of a beautiful black cat with the caption, "Why would anyone regard such beauty as bad luck?" And I was just stuck on that post for a moment, whispering it to myself and I sort of went into a daze---like I zoned out for a second.
All of a sudden I heard this super screechy, high-pitched ringing noise and I started seeing tons of tiny blue and green dots swimming in my vision. It was dark in my room at the time, because it was about midnight, and I was looking around, and to be honest, freaking out a bit. Whenever my gaze held on a spot for more than a few seconds, the darkness creeped in around my vision and made me totally blind (temporarily).
As I was looking around, I noticed by my door there was a slightly humanoid aura-type shape, and it changed between white and black, just splotchy and inconsistent in my vision, but when I looked away from it, I had flashes of light inside my eyelids when I blinked, and it was painful. (Might I mention before continuing, that I have always felt some sort of presence coming from that corner of my room, so I was only about 80% shocked to see something in my room there.)
When I opened my eyes again, I saw this white shape falling, but not to the floor or anything, just falling, through space or something. The blackness kind of floated upward, and when it did, the white shot up above it and started floating higher than the blackness.
I looked away from the spot on the ceiling I had been staring at, and the blue and green dots were formed in the shapes of circles, almost like the cogs and such that you would see if you pressed your finger down hard onto your closed eye for too long. I went on Google and searched up "why do I see colored dots in the dark" and Google returned to me with a page of health questions that people ask, and someone had posted a thread about seeing colored dots, auras, blotches, and such in the vision. Many people suggested floaters (floaters are little particles of detached capillary or other material that float in front of your field of vision inside your eyeball), and some people said that they saw those same things and that they could control them. I thought that was interesting. As a matter of fact, I highly doubted that they were even telling the truth.
I turned my phone down to my bed to block out the light, and I picked out the dots once again and I blinked a few times, trying to get the dots to make a square shape, and I'm not entirely sure if they did, but I thought that they went from cogs and wheels to a square with an almost filigree design of circles at the corners. It was very strange. I almost thought that it was my mind playing tricks on me.
Then I looked back at my phone to read through some more of that thread I mentioned before, but when I looked back up from the phone, everything was black. It was almost eerie in there. The ringing had stopped, the dots were all gone, and my floor fan had jacked up the speed from level 1 to level 2. If my eyes moved too far to the left of my phone screen (toward the direction of my bedroom door), I could have sworn I saw the shape of a humanoid with a top hat, Abraham Lincoln style. The whole experience was really wonky, and I don't know what to make of it.
I have had many experiences that were equivalent to this, but totally different at the same time. I've been wondering if maybe I'm psychic because a couple times I have seen things happen, and then read about them in newspapers or seen it on TV or something. I have also had nightmares or dreams that have happened the day after I woke up from them or sometime in the following week.
I'm honestly frightened by all of this, but at the same time I'm in awe because it's so strange and new. Anyway, I'm just rambling at this point, but any ideas as to what going on with me? Suggestion are much appreciated.
