Ever since I've been around the age of 8, I've known that there's something different about me.
My question is: how can I control the type of intuition I think I have? Do my experiences qualify as clairvoyance or another ability? How can I further control these?
I've always had random dreams that later come true-I know these to be premonitions. These dreams don't tend to be extremely detailed, just small clues to a future moment. Future telling and knowledge, if that makes any sense, seems to be the root of my abilities. At the age of 9 or 10, I received my first set of tarot cards-i know what you're thinking, I am and have always been extremely mature for my age. I've had numerous experiences with my cards, all good and a few shockingly accurate. In order to have a concise summary of everything that has happened with myself, Id prefer not to go into detail. Once, however, I discovered through reading a girl I met at sleepovers cards that her mother's partner passed away. I was able to give an accurate description of the deceased even having just met the girl whose cards I read. This is just one of my experiences. As I was saying previously, my ability is based off "future-telling" in lack of a better term. This mean I'll get spontaneous deja vu moments and sometimes predict what people will say before they speak. I've actually stopped dead in my tracks before and said "Becca (for example) is home" sure enough, they just pulled in the driveway.
Insight is another ability. After that strange occurrence at the sleepover, my friend demanded she have her own deck of tarot cards and that I'd teach her. (Let's just say I wasn't very successful). She was interested in whatever gift I have, if I even do, and wanted to experiment. She collected a few items from around her house, I had only been there a few times and knew the girl who roughly three months at the time. So, she showed me a stuffed giraffe animal. I was expected to make accurate comments about it (what she named it, who gave it to her, how old, etc). This I never expected to happen: I told her it's name was Giraffe (something to that effect, creative I know) then I explained it was her aunt who gave it to her when she was 5 from a public aquarium, zoo, museum. Every single detail was correct. So as you can see, I get moments of insight where I'll have prior knowledge or understanding of things I shouldn't or don't know of.
Now, I have experienced quite of a bit of paranormal activity and it seems as if the occasional events at my household circle around me. Only 1-2 things have actually happened when I haven't been home or in the room.
However, I am far from being a medium. It's so interesting to read of these stories where people can communicate with the dead or even see them. I have only seen a spirit twice, one being in an orb form another in a fast, cloudy flash of a full-bodied figure. Both times involve the apparition being white of color, never black.
Its important to include that I can also see auras. At first (still questioning it though) I thought this was a trick of my eyes. But either way, I am able to see a milky outline approximately 1/2 inch thick of objects - they have grown larger and have had more color to them before which I feel is a full aura manifestation. I believe what I am witnessing is an eye trick or a beginning of an aura. When having a deep concentration or strong emotion, the aura keeps larger and more colorful I feel.
I know this is long and fairly jumpy, but I feel it's important to include a summary of every strange event that happens to me. This includes rare psychical drain. I experience a burst of emotion or light headed feeling every time I'm in a busy, crowded place, overwhelming me. In the past I have actually blacked out, here's two experiences of this just to clarify. Once, a few years ago, my school took a field trip to a museum. We were checking out Native American artifacts and participating in chants of some sort. While most of the kids weren't paying attention, talking, I was compelled to the objects in the display cases. I felt myself grow sick with different feelings and pains, and a teacher (lets call her Ms.C) escorted me outside the exhibit. Things now begin to get strange-the second I left that section of the museum I felt perfectly fine. That left me wondering: what was that about? The on duty nurse assumed I was low on blood sugar-something like that-but I and Ms. C knew there was something not quite right. This experience has happened to me another time (it's happened about 3-4 times in all) when I was by an abandoned building and field at a small shop. I was overwhelmed with emotion and feeling, the abandoned area is the only thing I can think of, I did wait outside the shop after all. The ride back home was a blur, I was asleep or knocked out but my consciousness was still there. This has occurred twice, happening both times I've been around there. Here's the recurring twist again: The second I set foot in my house I was perfectly fine, like replenished. I do not know if these experiences are of the paranormal or related to a psychic phenomenon, but I do know they were not explainable and not of a medical issue.
If my story was long and confusing, I apologize- I just wanted to summarize the many types of unexplained things I've witnessed throughout my years and hopefully find out more about it. Is there is any confusion on my wording or explaining feel free to let me know. Is this signs of psychic ability or purely coincidental? I plan on further summarizing a few of these events in further detail in another entry. Your opinion is appreciated, thank you!
