He Tapped On My Left Shoulder

It happened 10 years ago. I have tried to keep it as a secret to myself but this is the age of revealing secrets. I want to say it. I don't care if you don't believe it or think I am crazy. It was a one time thing and it never happened again.

I was 7 or 8. I was alone at home which I was not scared of at all. I was watching my favorite cartoon. It was 12 o'clock and I was about to go get ready for school.

I was hungry and nobody was home. Cheese and bread were the only thing I could find. I put them in front of the tv. I went to change the channel.

When I came back I saw a man sitting there and eating. I don't know it was his good smell or his bright face. But I had a good feeling about him.

I sat there beside him and ate. I didn't see him swallow anything. I couldn't see his face. I had this feeling that I can ask anything from him and he would do that... I knew what I wanted -I didn't tell the whole story - but it was like my mouth was shut.

He was gone before I knew it. When I looked back he was gone. I got up and looked for him. But I didn't find him. When I was completely dissapointed he appeared in front of me. He was wearing a green dress. As he was smiling he tapped on my left shoulder three times with his right hand and dissappeared. For weeks my shirt smelled like him and everybody could tell.

But it never happened again. I am now 19 years old. That happened when I was 7 or 8. I had no idea what it was. I don't know what it is today eighter. I never believed in metaphysics or paranormal activities until I was 17. I never watched scary movies until I was 15. So at that time my brain couldn't have been creating this out of nothing.

There are two things that are telling me that HAPPENED. First, the smell of the shirt. Second, when I was leaving the house, I was scared a little. So I was running. When I reached the exit door my sister was just about to open the door and that can't be by chance.

I ran all of the way to school. The end.
