Premonitions in Dreams

First of, I'm a guy and this nickname is a long story. My dream premonitions have happened at least 4 times by now. 1st time it was about a girl I had a thing for, though only a part of the dream came real, since I didn't make the same choice I did in the dream. It seems that my dreams always involve choices, which I can repeat, but most of the times I don't.

I can't remember the second one now but the third one is interesting. My friend was about to get braces, but of course I had no idea when. So this one morning, the phone wakes me up, but I choose not to answer... Later on I answer the phone... My friend had just got his braces, and I was dreaming about that the same night.

The 4th one was about a person close to me dying, I tried not to do anything I've done in the dream, and luckily the person didn't die.

Now the dreams have stopped, well actually they continued but I don't remember them so often as I had before. The weird thing is that usually I don't dream, and now, if I dream, it's a premonition, or a very strange dream.

I am not freaked out by this, or anything, I wish for this gift to continue, that's why I'm writing my experience, if you could, please help me.

Thanks

dangermom - I keep hearing the advice about the dream journal. I freelance write, and love writing, but haven't done this and am not sure why. Perhaps I'm afraid of weirding myself out or just want an area in my life without writing. Perhaps I'm a big chicken. Not in real life, seldom get intimidated or scared, but flying does scare me a little. Any advice on the fear of flying? Part of me wants to go there, but part of me holds back often. I don't want to know...

Keep a dream journal and write them down the moment you wake up. Once I started doing this I realized I was doing it a lot more than I had thought!

Try waking up from the dream and write it down usually it comes back to you a few hours or days later. Try looking back at your dream.

Angie sometimes you do not dream all the time, but it comes in spurts so don't worry about that. If you are not remembering your dream do practice methods of counting backwards and telling yourself before you go to bed that you will remember your dream.
