For years I've been having mild psychic experiences and not so incontravertibly paranormal experiences, this one was a whole other level of crazy. I was sitting on my chair in front of the laptop, not a worry in my head. Out of the blue I felt myself getting pinned down, my fight of flight response kicked in before it even happened and I was fighting for my life. Both my arms were held down and I felt something being driven into my chest area. I was in a state of terror, extreme fear the likes of which I've only experienced in sleep paralysis. After 5 seconds it ended abruptly as it started and I was back in the same calm, carefree state. It left me with a feeling like I'd just been mugged or something. That feeling you get when you get taken by surprise and are pondering what just happened. This completely took me by surprise, that's what made it so intense I had no time to brace myself at all.
I went to bed a few hours later and woke up the next day, don't remember any unusual dreams of anything. My room was trashed but I had no recollection of doing it. My laptop was "placed" on the floor with all the wires still in it. An old cathode ray tube TV was lying face down on the floor. A bin bag of recyclables, about 3/4 full had been emptied on the floor. I had a busted knee and scratches on my head and knuckles but no idea how I got them. There were no signs that I'd left the room.
I made a thread about the experience on a forum and happened to hit the send button at exactly 3:33 AM. I found that strange because most of my intense psychic/paranormal experiences happen to come with the number 333. I have no idea what to make of the experience. It was somewhat of a blessing in disguise since it leaves no room for doubt that something genuinely paranormal happened. Before that I'd been in an altered state whenever something I suspected to be paranormal happened.
