Since I was six years old (to my knowledge at least) I've been able to see the future. I would also have higher understandings. For example, when my family were out to visit another family that I've never met or knew of before, I knew what their house looked like and where it was. Then last summer a good friend of mine got lost. I could feel her panic and I followed it to where she was and found her, and confessed to her about how I found her. When the school year started afterwards, I was forced into doing astral projection but I haven't been able to do it since.
For a while now my empathic abilities had started to develop to the point where I can use it consciously. Sometimes I can even find people that I know, or use it on people I don't know. So for all this time, I thought I was just an empath who also had strong future sight. Then one day when I was babysitting, I had let the kids play videogames for an hour. There was a power up that floated around the screen in their game. And I had moved it around, unconsciously at first, around the screen. When I realized what I was doing, I tried it again and it had worked. All this time I had thought I was just an empath, and here I was moving something with my mind. After several weeks of trying this on physical objects, I've ever been able to. I could feel a force I exerted, but it was never stronger than the Earth's gravity to lift something, or more so than an object's mass just to move it.
I knew that my mom was an empath too but she wasn't as strong in it as I was. But she never had any telepathic abilities, and neither did her relatives. My question is then, is it possible to be a mutt of psychic abilities? And if so, is it more likely that I can be strong in every one of them or only one or two?
Don't know that I have an answer for that, in the same sense that I don't have an answer for why I get headaches an hour before a thunderstorm rolls through.
The opinions on it will be different depending on who you go to - doctors will say you have a medical condition, psychologists will say it's only mental. Believers in the "I'm an [element here]-bender" will tell you something completely different than me.
I say this bit of zen wisdom for your and my cases: One does not need to see the sun rise to know it has risen. In other words, it could be that your body is just detecting the change in moon cycles, the same way that my body detects the barometric pressure changes that occur before the storm, or how animals can detect an earthquake before one happens. Doesn't mean that you share a bond with an element, just that you are perceiving something most don't (if that made any sense).
