Shadow Person In My Dream

Last Thursday or last Friday I had a dream of a place that I do not know. I was in a room with nothing in it, but in the corner there was a tall dark figure. It had no face or features. It came right up to my face and then I woke up. The odd thing is that last Thursday I was sitting with my cousin's husband's great uncle who was very close to death. He ended up passing that Friday morning. I felt very afraid at the time while I was dreaming, but since I had the dream and Mr. Bill's passing, I keep thinking back to that dream. I have had lots of experiences like this and seeing things, hearing things, and even feeling things in a house of and certain area. I have never seen shadow people though, until that dream. I know that these things exist and I am open to learning and living with these things around me. I would really like to know more about shadow people though, and why these spirits or entities are so close to me. I would like to know also because I have a one year old son who has already shown signs of know and seeing things too. I would like to be able to help him understand what he feels and sees. If there is anyone who would be willing to help maybe with some friendly advice, I would really appreciate it. I do not want to be scared of these dreams and if something is trying to reach out to me I would love to be able to be helpful if I can. My father has been helping me with this stuff since I was little and he knows a lot about this stuff but, I would like to get some outside advice on this.
