Trip to the Other Dimension

I am new to the site and this is my first story that I'd like to share. In a dream state I found myself in another dimension. It was dark and very uncomfortable. I knew I was there to help. I found the person I needed and she was really scared. I remember yelling "GO THROUGH THE LIGHT! And IT'S OK!". It was a very intense moment, because I felt there was a negative energy that was trying to prevent this from happening.

The person I was helping was hesitant, but I knew I didn't have much time. Finally she went through. I was relieved and thankful she made it. As soon as the light was gone I felt a very strong negative energy who was furious with me. I felt at risk and knew I needed to get out of there.

I awoke, but my heart was racing a mile a minute. I was still feeling the terror, but it went away after a minute or two. I know this was not the other side, because it was so negative. When I was on the other side I remember how peaceful and comfortable it was. It was almost cartoon like. Vivid colors and serene feeling. This was very different. I think it might of been the in between, where ghosts and evil spirits reside.

I am wondering if anyone have had this experience and can tell me about it.

I've beeen studying astral projection for about 7 years now.

Here's how I make sense of your story:

There are different dimensions in our universe. There are infra-dimensions that house bad energy, evil spirits and what religions call "Mouths to Hell".

The next up dimension is what we're most familiar with: length, width and height. Hence, we live in "3d world".

The fourth dimension is time.

The fifth dimension has two planes: the mental and the astral.

From there we have even higher 6th and 7th dimensions. Above that there is what is refered to as "The Absolute".

If we pollute our bodies with drugs or eat a big meal before we go to bed we're most likely going to visit the lower infra-dimensions in our sleep or in our astral projection. Remember we astral project every night while we sleep.

We can help those who are stuck here pass on either in our 3d world or, as you've done, in other dimensions. Just beware of the lower infra-dimensions. Also be weary of when you're dreaming in a higher plane (usually the 5th dimension on the astral plane) that even though you're in a "safe zone" you can still go to the lower realms through these little, how shall I say, black portals.

See you in the astral:)

Green,

This sounds like it may have been the in between other side and the energy you felt was not a person but actual negative energy itself. After all, the universe is laden and coated with what scientists refer to as "dark energy". This other side could have possibly been the realm where spirits who commit suicide, dwell.

It's good that you helped that person and that you got out fast. Negative energy could have consumed you a little too much you would have woken up with a headache or something.

tinaa - I am going to try and find your story. I'm not sure that I'm the best person to answer your questions though. I just learned the term myself not so long ago. Still, I'll try. Read and if it sounds right good and if not, call it hooey.

p.s. My daughter is 19. I still remember it. Wouldn't tell anyone, then told my husband after about a week and later my sister. Lately have written about it here.

Briefly, if possible for me, I think the other side is both. There's a good and a bad place. I was alone and think I might have come near death or into it just after my second child was born. Had lost too much blood but no one knew it until the blood test came back. Went through the tunnel. Was flying on something or some how. It was scary. Got to end and saw a bright, glowing door. Was staring at it and very drawn. A voice told me that I couldn't leave yet; I just had given birth. (It was a male voice and I'm female.) I knew and was ashamed, very, but was curious and wanted to go through. Didn't know where I was really, but liked it. Went there mistakenly I think. Then went back swiftly, into me, and woke up and then found out I needed blood. Well, someone in the tunnel might run into problems. It was my feeling it was scary a little. I went fast and furious but do this in astral voyages too and not sure that I don't sometimes go where I'm not suppose to sometimes but block out yuck stuff. If I read about these, probably wouldn't believe it. Have to since I've had them.

HAHAHA No, no I was awake, I am speaking of an incident where I was bleeding out from an accident, and after falling down twenty feet in a ditch and getting a piece of log chipped into my head, I felt absolutely no pain. And yet the doctors told me I wasn't in shock. I ran up the 20ft ditch and went to find help, but as I did after a few minutes passed I felt neither alive nor dead. I felt perfect. An emotion that very few will ever experience before death, I mean contention you cannot describe. Never before did I feel this contention, this content we all strive for all of our lives. And I was right there, in that moment I was there, not because of the fall... I wasn't going to die, I knew how to fix my own wounds, even though I went to the hospital 2 hours later for stitches to put the pieces of skin back together on my head.

This feeling wasn't just being merely content, some people say they are content... But not truely. You still feel the wanting to be something or know something, to move further, think about the past or present... All of these things.

I didn't think 'human' anymore at that point, no words mattered, it all was just there... But not as a bad thing, but as everything blended with ease almost.

Most say that they can feel this with astral voyage... But it is a world away from that all together, it has nothing to do with lifting out of your body or traveling.

No you are content were you are, you never are really departed from your body, but the body itself is different...it's really not explainable.

It is not like what most people say as a white tunnel, or angels... Or the devil... None of that, it's totally different

To this day I have never felt that same way again, no matter how many times you travel out of body or see things... Not once did I ever feel that again

I rememeber when I was not dead or undead, it was odd it was neither gloomy nor unexplainably bright and no white tunnels haha or angels or spirits. Everything just was and there was no reason to question anything, no desire to become this or that... Perfect contention.

To clarify... I was on the other side once before and I was referring that this place felt very different. The other side is very positive, soothing and the place I visited was negative, dark and scary. I was talking about a completely different occasion and I was comparing them. Hope this helps understand.

I know this was not the other side, because it was so negative. When I was on the other side I remember how peaceful and comfortable it was. It was almost cartoon like. Vivid colors and serene feeling.

I took this from your story. You got me a bit confused. First you state that it was a negative place and it was NOT the other side. Then you say it was peaceful and comfortable with vivid colors. Now I am just trying to figure out how it can look so cheerful, when you said it was negative and not the other side?

Can you explain this to me?

green - ty for sharing this experience. That was awesome. I think you might have really assisted someone. This is our place and our One Power, whatever you call him, is much stronger. I did get curious once. I always shield myself from yuck stuff. I've been "flying" awhile. Heard the term "astral voyage" and this site has helped me a lot. I was afraid. It's very scary stuff sometimes. I always go very high and into odd places, dimensions maybe. Anyway got curious and went to a low one. Saw a bad thing. It was trying to hurt me in some way, and I kept trying to call it a BASTa--" fill in the blanks. I never say bad words. But it was a long struggle. I finally managed to get it out. Felt choked, but not physically, but satisfied when the word finally came out. Then I said, OK - I'll go back now. Went back to my body and felt like I had won something. Read a book, interesting, called "23 Minutes in Hell..." It's pretty good. I read the first 32 pages is all, but that was my interest. Might the read the rest later. I paid about ten dollars for an experience much like yours in ways.
