The Shadow Man

I'm 16 and I'm still wondering if I'm psychic OR losing my mind.

A few years ago I was laying down in my room, everything's quiet. And the doors open, night light on in the hallway. As I'm laying down something tell's me to look up. So of course I look up out of curiosity. And I see a dark skinny male figure holding a knife which sparkled like a real one in its hand. And it's runs across the wall toward my moms room. Even though I wasn't sure completely what had just happened or 100% sure this was even possible. So I ignored it and I got out of bed and kicked open my moms door to make sure my mom was safe. My mom looked at me like what's wrong. What happened. Is there a fire. I was like. You didn't see that shadow figure. She goes what are you talking about? I'm like I saw a shadow figure. She was confused. So I explained it to her and she still didn't believe me. So I went back to bed. And stared at the wall.

Till this day I am still 100% positive that I saw a shadow man.

No other way to describe it. A shadow figure. With a knife. Trying to attack my mom. I don't know why. Or what ghost or spirit would want to attack her. She doesn't get into stuff like that. And my mom didn't believe me so I'm guessing she's not psychic.

BUT... AM I PSYCHIC?

I've experienced some other weird thing with animals. On my way to school and in dreams.

And with spirits that aren't even dead I guess. Which again I'm not sure if that's possible. I don't have a problem if I am psychic. I just want to know that I'm not going Insane.

I had somewhat of the same expieriece when I was little. Maybe I was six or something. A woman came into my room and I thought she was holding towels and brought them to my bathroom. Did the figure look like he was completely black? So there was no facial features, just the outline of him and everything else was black? That's what the woman I saw looked like. It was the middle of the night and I followed her out into my hallway but I couldn't see her anymore. I think they are real creatures in legends.

I had a similar experience last year. I had been on my laptop in my living room around 2am and I had been home alone at the time. I felt like something was staring at me, so like the scared teenager I tried to ignore it. I had began feeling chest pain like I could barely breath. When I looked up I saw a shadow man walking in front of my mirror going towards me. I screamed and I ducked behind my chair (like that would have helped me but hey! I was 14!) When I looked over the arm of my chair again it had disappeared. I had also seen a different shadow thing when I was sitting on my floor last summer with my best friend. I had quickly glanced under my bed when I felt eyes on me and I saw this mini shadow man staring at me with a huge smile on it's face. The freaky thing about it was when I was younger I had a dream of the EXACT same mini shadow guy and at the time I was only 5ish but I can still remember the entire dream. Coincidence? And you aren't crazy! I have seen many stories which have had the same experiences!

I had a similar experience with two girl spirits, a knife and my dad when I was seven. Usually when I encounter something like this, it is a spirit simply trying to input fear/terror in you. I have experience them taking something that is dear in hopes of getting a reaction that they want. There is really no point to it. I do believe it is a spirit and it wanted you to see what you saw... He knew you could.

Hey I just found out I'm psychic recently & it sounds like you are too. & I totally believe you about the shadow figure, I had something similar happen to me & it wanted to kill my friend. Who knows why. But don't worry I don't think your going crazy. I thought the same thing. By the way I'm 14, so were close to the same age I guess. But anyway Good luck!:) if it makes you feel better read my story. Honestly it helped me feel less alone bout stuff to read other people's stories.
