Hey. Can I ask, how do you know if your an indigo child. There is no relation to magyk in my family. None at all. I know no body, but I still...well...I am different. No bod gets me. I have strange abilities I can't control. I want to help people. When I was down, and out, when I kept hearing voices telling me I was an idiot, I let in a certain voice which old me I needed to help people, so I had to be strong. I wanted to help people since. I can tell when some one is sad, or lonely. I can understand things I'm not sure I should, people, how they think, who they are, with one conversation, I understand people, and what hurts them. I see things that arent in front of me, but its erratic, and I can't control anything I do. So How do you know if your an indigo baby, and not just...different, or crazy? I am with Shinigami0 on this one. I'm not familair with Indigo Children and in fact have never heard of them until I read your post. After doing a little research and also taking into consideration what our friend RookDygin posted it is an interesting subject. The debate about Indigo Children seems to be evenly displayed from both sides.

There are just so many things mentioned on this site that I have never heards of. Reptilians and Dracos are on that list too. You briefly touched on each description and even said that you've seen reptilians and they are mostly in politics and positions of addressing large groups of people. How do you recognize them? I can't help but thing of the television series 'V' when I hear about reptilians disguising themselves as humans.

My friends in college tried to educate me about popular american culture but sadly it is still lacking.

I'm ok now. It has been explained to me that my astral body was not fully alligned with my physical one causing a old vibrating sensation and it was really cold at my in laws.

if you wish to see angels and demons while still clothed in your bodies then you must first pray for the ability and if God hears your prayers (because your karmic debt is in the positive) then mediate on the black spot located in the center of your eye (research it people its in your science books)

You will then be able to see demons without hearing them. It is when you are unclothe (astro projecting) that they can speak to you and mess with your mind and energy patterns.

God created human beings with these innnate abilities. I don't think I'm special, I just feel sad that so many people have forgotten or are not willing to learn about their true nature and innate powers and would rather chase after fantasies.

An Indigo Child is a child who's spirit is from another planet/demonsion and was put on Earth to help humans evolve. There was a wave of Indigo's being born in the 1970-80's (now they would be considered Indigo Adults) and another wave in the 1990's-2000, these being the Indigo children.

Indigo Children have a more psychic tendancy, and are more likely to not fall for scams and lies. They know the difference of right and wrong, and usually try to make other's see it too.

I feel as if I am still in the darkness. I have always felt as if something was different about me. I've always been about to read others, understand them and even know them in a sense without even speaking to them. Now recently I feel like a have a dark spirit haunting or maybe a demon or more. "Indigo Children? Oh yeah... I know about them! Wasn't there a movie about that? They are some kind of special magic kids who do psychic things and who have dark blue auras, huh? I think I saw that on TV."

The term indigo children originates from the 1982 book Understanding Your Life Through Color, by Nancy Ann Tappe and later popularized by the 1998 book The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived, written by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober.

The idea put forth is this... Indigo children are children who are believed to represent a higher state of human evolution. The original information indicates more conventional traits such as increased empathy and creativity, as well as conceptual thinking as apposed to linear thinking. I learned to read as a toddler, and I read naturopathic books (about herbal medicine) and understood quite well what I read, when I was three and a half! At this age I could also read an old kind of handwriting used in Germany during 19th century (Sütterlin writing) which I later could no longer decipher and which no one had taught me. At school I was a genius in story-writing and languages, but for so-called "wilfulness" and "temper tantrums" I got suspected to be mental - so much that they put me into a center for Child Psychiatry at ten, "just for assessment" (but for several weeks!) where I was badly mistreated by other kid inmates, since then I really have a "crack in my mind" (in the form of horrible fear of asylums and imprisonment) - but they found no diagnosis at all. Except a high IQ which I don't remember exactly, they said it was above 140. (At twenty I was tested to have 129.) There were also many other abilities of the mental plane, and a basic direction of mind which fit better to an old monk of the Middle Ages than to a kid. To mrdone2010 there are ways to preventing negative enteties you have to let go off your fears believe in yourself and put out good energy picture wight light around you it will prevent them from aprouching you to close. Negative enteties will feed off of any negativity so don't give them anything to feed off of. I know That most indigo children have the color indigo in there auras but I'm not sure you can become an indigo child you just are but I know that you can learn to use new abilities by practice and meditation

To ghostgirl you stated that you felt like you were being followed it sounds to me that you are being followed by a shadow demon also know as shadow people. I have noticed that they like to make people suffer and feed off of negativity. They are very strategic and will do whatt ever it takes to break you down. I have noticed they try to stop indigo children beacuase we are a threat to them. You have to believe in Yourself and your abilities or else they will feed off of this doubt and become stronger. They are energy so they can follow you from great distances so you have to put good energy out picture a wite light around you or be happy it's like acid being thrown on them they will leave.

mrdone, From my understanding, an indigo child is just another name for a psychic person who's talented more than the usual o_o. But you don't need a special ability to shield yourself from spirits/entities. Just a shield.

It's so great to see so many indigos:) I posted a story about me being a indigo, and it's great to know how many others are out there you know? It's reassuring. I know exactly what you mean by being attracted to people who are lost, I tend to gravitate towards them. I also can't stand materialism anymore, I'm in high school, so pretty much what you have defines you in a lot of ways, and what you have is what makes you 'cool' 'happy', but I could care less about object or money, I get happy if I know I'm making someone else happy:)

wow I'm actually in shock to know that everything that everyone on this specific post is exactly like myself, yes the part about being attracted to people in the dark is my biggest trait, its like you know that theyre needing light in their lives and you tend to just want to aid them, also my happiness comes from other peoples happiness, money and material things don't make me happy like happiness in others itself, I'm glad I found this website and I believe in everyone who posts their experiences.

Um, wow everytime I read things about or from otherrs who identify or are questioning whether or not they are indigos it just adds to what I already feel. I'm also in California and would love to talk to any and all of you I strongly identify as an indigo. I've even done things just off sheer intuition only to find that its a practiced meditation. I'm an Indigo Child, and a Wiccan. I've felt like there are things watching me too.
Actually, just a few days ago, the wind was really heavy where I live and I kept thinking "something's not right" and then a few hours later, my friend said "this wind feels all wrong. Notice how it get's stronger when we're outside?"

I understand what you say about self destruction. I have struggled with that and still do, whether because of darkness or my own mind.

I have gone through some of the your experiences and felt the same way as well. I was spiraling out of control losing my self it used to feel like I was lost and trapped in a ocean of darkness by myself trying to find myself and with no light or exit to free me or guide me. Eventually I found my light and made it out turns out my light was always there I just didn't look. I am happy living in the light I am happy that you found your self. Good luck

I too am attracted to people in the darkness, and I related to when you said "I felt alone a lot but I always knew who I was so I kept on living." Somehow I feel like I was meant to read this...
