to DAYDREAMER95, I actually heard three voices in my head last night as I was trying to fall asleep, and it happened after I listened to the ringing in my ear. One of them shouted "HEY", and another voice said "hello" about half an hour later. It was a male voice, too. The third voice was a boy but I couldn't hear the full sentence. This was my first time hearing voices, and they were as clear as if someone were talking to me when I'm awake. What could they be? I also saw a strange white light in the corner of my room. That did it for me, so I turned my light on for a while but eventually I went back to sleep.

This made me recall a very weird thing that happened a while back. If I was relaxed and in bed and would start to hear a buzzing static noise and I would then hear voices. But it never last very long for me and I do not know how to control it. But as the other comments said it may be tinnitus. And I think that is the case because you never mentioned having heard voices. Have you heard any voices when this happens?

Guy's this is called Tinnitus, nearly everyone in the population has some form of Tinnitus. Most people are able to hear this " ringing,hisses,whooshing,siren " type of noise in complete silence. Another form of this is in which you go deaf for a few moments and hear a clear dial tone... This is called " Fleeting Tinnitus " And is also very common amongst almost all people. A more serious case of Tinnitus, One in which you hear most of the day. Is what an estimated 50,000,000 People in the United states experience. 2% of those 50 million actually suffer greatly from it, to the point that it causes problems in their life.

Tinnitus can be caused by so many things, Like Antibiotics, Chemicals in foods,Pesticides,Liver and organ problems, neurological disorders, Ear infections, Sinus Infections, Lung infections, Loud noise,Aging,Tumors,Birth defects, Eardrum perforations, Ear wax, Etc etc.

However, Some people do have a genuine case in which the " Ringing/Static/whistle " sound comes during paranormal activities, Like Psychic readings etc. Or when one is Lucid Dreaming or Astral projecting.

That being said, I believe most of your guyses cases of Tinnitus is very normal, and it does not mean you are psychic. Some people do experience this and some psychics may also experience this.

Remember, we must first approach something with non bias and all possibilities before we attach our own wishful thinking. So many things are explained logically, but people will still believe what they choose. Anyways, That's my 2 cent's, Take care!

Nothing at all to worry about. If you pay attention as RHood said you can tell if it is in your head, and usually you will hear it when you are relaxed. I've heard that some people focus in on this to meditate, it usually causes it to get louder and changes tone for me. It is nothing to be concerned with, unless of course you are experiencing some type of pain or it seems to be in your ear, then you might have a medical issue. In your case it sounds like tinnitus.

I've had this before but I never payed much attention to it. A varying in pitch and volume almost whining sound in my ear however its so obvious that its not coming from anywhere, like the sound is in my head.

i have always had this ever since I was little, I think my ears are a bit too sesitive because I can hear the high pitch noise that emits from laptops, tvs, etc. I don't know what its called but I do get a buzzing noise in my ears, like someones thrown a flashbang 😆 and ever since I was little I have thought of it as "the phone" because mine sounds kind of like... A phone

I don't get ringing but this buzzing in my left ear and I usually get it at night. After meditating and listening in a dark room I could make out a faint voice calling my name. I still get the buzzing once in awhile but I am having a hard time listening to the voice itself... This just happened to me the other night. 😕

I've had something like that before... I'm in show choir so one day at another school's invitational I was listening to some classmates sing in solo competitions. Right before one girl went on, I lost all hearing in m left ear, but hear and felt a whooshing noise in my right ear. No one else had heard it...

On a side note I heard, from someone who experiences this just the other day, that you can ask for confirmation from angels on readings you give people. Sometimes the confirmation comes in the form of a ringing noise or static. I've never experienced this but thought it was cool.

Ok,just after I read your story I now have ringing in my ears... I've had something similair a longer time ago and I still don't know what to make of it.

I, too, have this condition. The experts call it tinnitus. To me, it sounds like the ringing in your ears after coming out of a rock concert. I have had it for many years. Louise Hay, author of the mulitmillion selling book "You Can Heal Your Life" says this of tinnitus: "Refusal to listen. Not hearing the inner voice. Stubbornness." To correct this problem, repattern your thoughts by repeating this mantra: "I trust my higher self. I listen with love to my inner voice. I release all that is unlike the action of love." Now, we both have homework to do!
