This spirit is not bad. The darkness of it and the red eyes could mean that this spirit was bad but since it is helping you it might be trying to become good. It could be a long dead family member trying to help you maybe?

This story runs chills down my spine but I have delt with the same thing a couple of times. If you burn sage it will have it go away if you want it to. Also trying to surrond your self with a golden light that will make it keep its distance try this with your brother too. Hoped this helped!

Anyways, your experiences are amazing. I believe that this being is you and your brother's guardian. It seems to be helping you two.

Sounds like a shadow that feeds off of positive energy, basically it will keep you safe and happy so that it can feed off of you. Its not a bad thing though it just the price of protection.

This may be some form of an extra-terrestrial or inter-dimensional being. I personally would wake up every once in a while to a very odd frequency in my loft where I sleep. It was very much not man-made sounding but I had no way of proving that. Later, after I got married, I had my husband install infrared light motion detectors. The next time those frequencies were there, those lights would go off, including one right by my side of the bed. I just knew something was in the room.

Like you, I am protected, even from myself. It is my opinion that we can sometimes have guardians that are not human. You of course do not know me but I am also the author of the astral projection site (www.astralvoyage.com) as well as this site so I have a lot of OBE's, and in them, I see inter-dimensional beings that are near me. I'm sure if you could do this too, you'd see this being.

The universe is far stranger than we'd like to think. We assume there are only humans out there; that we live these normal lives then die. We don't take into account that we're not alone in the universe, that there are numerous dimensions (scientists now agree on this) and that even our own souls may have not originated from planet earth. Who says this is your first incarnation here? You very well may have elected to be reincarnated here, at this time, for a very specific purpose. And if you originated from somewhere else then it makes sense that you might have a guardian that knows you from that place.

This may not be clear to you now, but as you get older, you'll start to dream of another place and you'll know those other people very well but will forget them as you wake up. I wouldn't doubt it if you felt totally out of place here. In my travels, I have gone to another plane and it was my real home. Sometimes souls come here to help, teach, guide, heal and other things of that nature. You're purpose, if this all applies to you, will become more self evident as you get older.
