thank you everyone, I love this site. Risa, to me, you seem like an empathic indigo child. Do you have many mood swings and unexplained feelings? Do you seem to know a lot more about people than you should? Those are some characteristics to an empath.

Mystical, you are right, the end of the world isn't exactly what is coing, but change is. And it is amazing how small children seem to know so much!

Racheal, I think this happens to everyone. How out of nowhere your abilities vanish and then come back stronger. It happened to me, my ESP friend, and my psychic friend. Its like they leaveto recharge. I'm 14. I might not seem like it always though.

Casey, thank you. You're very very smart, it seems. I will do some research on the book you have told me about. All that is happening needs to be understood better, doesn't it? Hopefully, we can do just so.

also I am a.d.d or have been told but I have the meds but I don't like feeling like a zombie. I find this significant bc I just googled indigo and it says some are thought of as ADD or ADHD. AMAZING.

I forgot to mention that a co-worker/really good friend stated to me that I am a very passionate person and that's why I have a tendency to get passionate in everything I do. My boyfriends says he can't keep up with me that I'm never the same. I'm artistic I love re-arranging furniture or decorating, moving things until a room:feels: right. I can pick up on others emotions especially walking into a room... I'm so confused. Might I be an indigo child?

Hi Val, I'm 21 in TX and I have a lot of unanswered questions. I don't know what I have or what this or I am but I noticed my abilities in my early teens... I have talk to ONE person about this and that is my father who wasn't present until nine years old. I kept my visions to myself until I had to get it out, I needed to talk to somebody. So last year I went to visit my father who claims that he can talk to, see and hear spirits. My father and I don't have much of a relationship but I chose to speak with him about this because I remembered how my brothers and I thought he was a little crazy when we were kids for hearing and seeing things. Now it makes sense I have realized that what's going on with me is more than a coincidence and I was hoping he could give me answers. I told him of the vision of the boy killed and it being unsolved and its on my mind for the past years his advice to me was pray about it and move on and sent me on my way.
I have visions that take place during the day. I can read or have thoughts come to me when I first meet someone as if I'm looking into there past or future its very strange and it scares me. Any answers for me?

about the sudden "gifted children bust" I have a few idea's about what it's about. I've been doing research on everything psychic related for the past five months including Indigo and Crystal children, Lightworkers, Empaths, Healers, the number eleven and anything else I may have temporarily forgotten and basically what they're all here for is to help. To help that is the "non-psychic" people.
And since that discovery I have been asking myself if that's the reason for all of the Empaths and etc. Then something big must be coming up for the world to need so many.
I'm seriously not meaning to scare anyone but I think something is going to happen in 2009. Just last month I was looking up something on the internet and ran across The Nostradamous Code, World War III. I'm not saying there's going to be another wwIII but the book predicts something happening in 2009. And maybe it's just me but you've read my story and this book is making a prediction so it's saying something important to me. (when I went to the book store to get it, they were all sold out, they couldn't even order it for me because all of the warehouses where empty, so apparently people liked that book.) 😲
So maybe this is all just in my head. But I thought I would just leave a comment and see what you thought.

Hey val, I read your article about indigo children. THIS IS AMAZING, after all my searching I have finally found all the answers I have been looking for. I fit pretty much all of the traits of an indigo child. The empathy, gifted classes, my esp, feeling out of place among my inmature classmates, getting weird feelings of what the meaning of life is, my problem with systems, and rule, knowing I was born to make my mark on the world, my creativity, the list goes on. I do believe their are more and more indigo children then ever. Think of the possibilities all the great thinkers, and inventors have been misunderstood aka system breakers. Isn't that what a indigo child is a misunderstood system breaker? Anyway I would love to talk to you more about this subject, be sure to email me as soon as you can

This summer I had a couple weeks where I didn't have anything weird happen to me (im an empath) and then they started again so I don't know if this is related by any-means
I've been reading up about indigo children and I seem to match a lot of the criteria.
Good job on telling your parents I don't think I will ever be able to.

I think we are definately starting to experience some kind of change. More and more are coming out of the closet about their gifts. Like mine, we are learning that most gifts go down the family line in some way, however, not all. Way back in the day God had given the gift of speaking tongues while everyone could understand what was being said. Again change. Doesn't really happen anymore and while some do it, others can't understand a word they are saying. God has a plan. He makes changes. Amazing how small gifted children become great healers automatically at a young age and speak about God and family with so much understanding and love. I have not exactly figured out what I've been feeling. I knew storms and disaster would happen this year, which has killed many unfortunately. I'm just feeling change. But not the end of the world as some say.

Ven and others - I'm careful. If I imagine that something can happen, or see it maybe, it seems to happen so I avoid bad stuff. Perhaps curiosity really does kill the cat. If we start wondering, does that lead to creation in some way? I try to keep my thoughts focused on here and helping. I once, in 7th grade, asked my mom over and over, what stitches felt like and it bugged her. That was Tuesday, and I do remember clearly though I'm nearly 50. On Friday, of the same week, I had forty near my elbow which was not great, but appeased my curiosity. That seemed a little odd to me, even at that age. Be careful I suppose if you are truly sensitive. Be careful if you're not. You might one day go there to great heights, suddenly. These 40 stitches were in no way my fault, and I was in a public school with witnesses though my parents made no big deal about it. Apparently 2 big senior guys got into a fight and I was in 7th grade, it was a small school, and one punched the other and hit me instead so I "flew" through a plate glass place. Those were the statements taken from them. They felt badly, and my parents told them no biggie. I asked my mom about stitches, bugging her a few times before this, so I guess she just figured they were about to happen - I did.

there is this guy, who is to tell you the truth, very, very, charming. There is NO ONE at school that does not like him. Before, we never really thought there was anything unusual about him, but we did notice some strange things.

For example, the way he talks. He has this weird way of talking as if his words have a double meaning. And sometimes, he would speakin out of time phrases, and use words that from my knowledge are quite old.

Then, there was his humor. He has a dark humor, and when he says something everyone laughs at, he never laughs. Like, he isn't kidding. Sometimes, he'll say stuff like, "and then, when no one expects it, they'll strike. Only the wise will know." and then, he laughs without humor. And there's always an underflow of like, smoldered anger bellow hi soft sweet outside looks and actions.

And finally, the way he looks at things. And how he sometimes seems to have to fight to not do things that are cruel. He will stare around, like he's being follwed, and sometimes whip his head around out of nowhere. And I can see the force he sometimes puts behind his nice person face to BE nice. I can see that sometimes, its like he has to fight something, or someone, to avoid being mean. And sometimes, he losses.

hey lucy! By the indigo children burst, I mean that lately, a lot of indigo children, or other gifted individuals are coming up. EVERYWHERE. To tell you the truth, I'm happy about it, but still, the more new empaths there is, the more people the is to teach, and the more issues that come up. Oh, I don't know, its just so confusing.

Glenda, yes I do know you are of the older, more mature, and thus wiser geration, your name was quite easy to read. And even though I do know curiosity can be a bad thing, thank you for reminding me. I have to tell you guys something that happened to me this week. Actually, just yesterday. On tuesday, I found my personal notebook in my WV history class, and I hadn't even realized it was goe, but I picked it up, and didn't think much of it. Then, yesterday I was going through it, and I noticed that there was an entry that I nor any of my friends had created.

I started reaing it, and what I found out scared the s*** out of me. It was a note from someone, telling me to stop messing with this stuff if I didn't know what I was doing, and warning me that he, or she, is one of "the ones who wait, and see the ordinary ones become more and more aware of the never-happening supernatural" were what the note said. Of course, I suppose who wrotethis note read my notebook, in which my psy-vamp friend and I talked about a girl in our school who does wicca, because the note told us to stop researching that kind of crap, and that "stuff will happen that even we will not believe." we have a pretty good guss of who it was ho wrote it, and that might be the scariest part.

And your powers disappeared but now are stronger mine have dissapeared I have just been having deja vu and sensing spirits, I think. But now that's gone too. Maybe mine will come back too. hello I'm a telepath that's been tryin to find myself and was wondering can someone please tell me something because when I have a thought about what I want to do anybody get's it then I get what I want what is that like just yesterday I had a thought about going to bed and my mother jus said well alright go to bed then I was shocked bye! ❤

I'm the older generation and honestly, I don't know if the younger generation is better or more open and able to talk about it more. I'm glad your parents admitted to researching it. There are things we don't understand, and danger finding out, like early ocean explorers sometimes sank, and excitement I guess. I'm careful, somewhat, and ask questions. I was told that I'm a questioner, then looked it up, and it's a word. I would have said a person who questions. There are others. That's about the extent of my knowledge. Curious is fine. Be careful though and know life has to happen too while you're appeasing your curiosity.
