(I've always been sensitive and this is my first channeling experience. Thanks for reading.)
I'm channeling a woman named Sarah. She experienced a great loss in her lifetime, and it was of her older brother. He had to leave to fight in a war (WWII?) and she did not want him to go. He was her protector, her best friend, and her confidante. When they were young they played together all the time, and they always had each other. Then when she was 17, he had to leave to go fight in the war. She didn't want him to go, and he had to go as he saw it as his duty. Sarah was immensely mad at him for going. If he went, who would watch out for her? Who would she turn to for protection, and answers to all her questions? She thought she would have no one. In the years of her incarnation, she held this sadness of losing him. She never saw him again. She held onto the sadness and waited for him to come back. In the back of her mind and in her heart's desire she always thought "maybe he will come back for me".
In my life I felt Sarah's sadness in a connection through me. Her unresolved need for her brother affected me greatly. At one point in my life there was a person at my work whose sense of responsibility jumped out at me, and whom I felt magnetically and deeply drawn to. His face was serious and stern, and he seemed to be a person I'd known for a very long time. In this day, Sarah is still waiting to hear from her brother. A person who has his traits in my lifetime is an opportunity for her to finally end her waiting for her brother's return. She seems to work through me, looking for her brother.
I think that instead of having her search through me, I can ask the spirit guides to help her in reuniting with her brother in the eternal realm. For he is there, she is there, we all are there. Our earthly incarnations bring us events that are sometimes out of our control, but our spirits live forever in the realm beyond. Does she know that they are both already there, both in the same place? Her pain does not need to be with her anymore. It can be lifted, and her young arms can wrap around the brother she misses. He's not gone anymore, he is there, waiting to reunite with her.
Sarah? The man you think is your brother reincarnated is not him. Your sadness is ok, and I will sit and hold you in your tears. It is ok to cry. As the emotions pass that have been within you for so long, consider anew: he exists somewhere. He exists closer to you than you realize. In the space of your forever soul, go to God and ask, and your brother will suddenly appear. In this spring season I ask for joy and rebirth in your reunification with your brother. He is waiting.
