Dream Or Not?

Sorry I have to tell someone I honestly think I was dreaming but it felt like I woke from dream as in another dream.

But here goes it was odd because I woke and felt like I was pinned to my bed on my back and I felt like a really cold breeze like something was blowing in my face, and while that happened I felt something walked around my head on my pillow because I felt the pressure.

As I was looking around trying to figure out what was going on I looked to my left and could see vaguely a woman or I'm not even sure it could have been a child but I know it was either of them it was bobbing in and out but felt so in my face.

As that happen I tried to ask I think in my mind because I know I couldn't actually speak, "what Did it want from me?" but no answer and I couldn't see it no more, the cold breathing still happened as I lied there I prayed to god and imagined a light over protecting me. Then It was like it was going away but I felt like it was walking along my bed but so close to my body because I was pinned it felt like a person but I felt like it was a cat at the end of it too. It was like a I had a vision or something I saw people but not really it was just so blurry, I don't know what that was. And while I was looking to my right direction that was when I snapped out of it but it was like I was awake or sleeping but I knew it wasn't like I woke up it was weird

I was shaking. My goodness it felt so real but scary.

Does anyone know about this or had a similar dream? Thanks in advance

these kind of dreams were my first long term memory. I use to have them nightly somewhere between ages 6 and 8. I was always aware of my dreams and made changes to make them more fun in my younger days. Either my subconscious or something didn't like this. The dream would get intense and I willed myself awake only to be in my own bed in my own room pinned to the bed and unable to talk or move. After a dozen times whatever was holding my down started tickling me (sounds ridiculous I know) tickling was always something I hated it was worse then hitting to me. During these tickling holds I was able to get an arm free and pound on my wall. My mother would start ascending the stairs and I'd be released. This happened until I bargained (kid stuff) to whatever was holding me and it finally stopped.

20 years later I finally remembered to ask my mom, "did you ever come upstairs to me beating on the wall?" it was a no. So finally I knew it was just a dream in whole.

Still trying to figure out the meaning of a dream manifesting in this way. The mind is a powerful thing.

You mentioned you felt like you were pinned in your bed.Once, this happened to me too when I was around 11 or 12... And I could assure you that the dream felt so real even up until now, I still can't figure out if it was just a dream or not. And what I am referring to, my dear, is commonly called as "SLEEP PARALYSIS."
We have no complete answers as to what you have experienced since it's YOU who experienced it. I could just humbly share my insight, and my insight would be it's no more than a dream or another case of sleep paralysis.
Although it is not a psychic experience much, why not try Googling about sleep paralysis or the meaning of your dreams instead? As far as I know your dreams reveal a much more deeper part of your desires as well as your self... Who knows, these dreams may serve as your steppingstones to unlocking more of your spiritual side.😁

I wouldn't worry too much; this sounds more like a case of sleep paralysis than anything supernatural or malicious. Sleep paralysis is essentially just when you don't wake up properly and a dream gets superimposed onto reality, but because you're still partly asleep you can't really move or do anything about it. Your description of feeling like you had woken from a dream but were also still dreaming is basically the definition of this condition.

It's not an uncommon thing to happen, my Uncle goes through phases and has very similar experiences to your own when he does. The best way to avoid it is just to make sure you're sleeping properly: make sure the room is dark and quiet and that your airways are clear. Take a medicinal sleeping aid if you feel you need it.

If problems persist then go see your doctor who can probably recommend and sleep therapist. If anyone tells you that this isn't sleep paralysis, I'd suggest you scrutinise what they tell you very closely, because you really have given a perfect description of what happens when sleep paralysis occurs.:)
