Hearing the Phone Ring Before It Rang

I have always had different kinds of abilities, but they were always very subtle until I decided to believe in them and make them stronger. Telepathy, prophetic dreams, ghost-seeing, and sensing what someone is feeling and/or thinking have always been a part of my life. Psychic abilities sort of run in the family, but I never really felt I had that gift.

Recently, things I have been thinking about started to actually happen. When I talked to my mother about this she suggested embracing these events as I have done with other gifts and make it strong. So, the more I have studied and thought about it, the more clear the "messages" have become. Knowing when (and usually who) someone was going to call has happened several times. But the last time I actually heard the phone ring. I went to answer it but it was not lit up and the caller ID was not on. I figured that since I had been listening to music, I had just imagined the ring. (My mother also later informed me that the phone had not been ringing.) I started to walk away from the phone, but heard the ring again, this time a little louder. My mom came in to answer it. This time it truly was ringing. I also at that moment knew it was not someone my mother wanted to talk to.

Hi, I to used to abuse drugs, alot. Coke, and E. During this time I could see reflections, see things out of the corner of my eyes and I heard voices. They were not nice though. The doctors tried to say I was skizo... And put me on meds. I was a zombie. I quit the meds, and the drugs. When I was in the doctor's office one time the voices were bugging me, and all of a sudden I heard my mother's voice (I think) tell them to leave me alone. I asked my mom what she was doing at that very moment, and she told me she had been praying for me. Weird...anyhow. If I sit at night when I am tired and stay very quite I can still hear the voices. I can make out my name and if I think something, they repeat what I am thinking. Almost like they are telling others what it is that is going through my head. The voice is that of my dead best friend. I have heard it quite plain and there are other voices sometimes too. Of past drug users that I didn't like. (I think that is why they were mean, cause we didn't get along) What I want to know is how do I figure out what they want, and how do I strenthen this? Am I skizo, or am I a medium? If anyone has advice, please feel free to let me know.

hi me and my boyfriend are both telepathic I'm usually the sender and he's the receiver. I usually just think when to phone him then I get a message saying go ahead before he does. When he picks up the phone he's like I was just going to phone you! He gets a bit freaked out because every time he just about to text me or phone me I beat him and do it at the same time as him. Sometimes we text each other just right at the same time its like arrr! Usually when one of us picks up the phone the other one phones or texts a second later. My boyfriend sometimes ask me what word he is thinking of when I'm in a alright mood I get it right. Sometimes I say things what he is thinking of not meaning to blurt them out cause he gets a bit like wow and goes on I was just going to say that. One time I didn't have credit on my phone so for a hour I was practising to send him a message through my mind. Then that will make him start thinking about me about a hour later he text me and He wouldn't of if I didn't try sending him a message through the mind. We are just people who pick up our phones before it rings cause we get this feeling inside only our selves can explain. I get a exciting and tingly feeling in my shoulders or something I really can't explain.

My daughter told me that she has always resented me and her older brother because life just seems so easy for us. I've heard this all my life. One "friend" snidely said one time that it's like every morning when I wake up, God gives me a kiss and tells me to have a nice day. I found that a little strong. But I understood my daughter. I think it's important to always remember that everyone has their hard stuff, even if we don't see it. Some are going through their hard time in life, like I did with my daughter as a teen, but even if we don't see it, everyone needs help and our problems are no worse or easier.

I know some people don't believe we effect things. I'm pretty convinced. Sat down to write my daughter an email, upset. Thought, I need to save because I'm angry. Wrote four or five sentences and heard a thump. An old suitcase, untouched for years, had fallen out of the closet. When I got back from checking to see what had fallen started writing again. Got over a half page done, then remembered I needed to be saving a lot. Started to and the power went off about two seconds and I lost it. This happens too much to be coincidence.

Colt - I do understand about the electricity deal. Always had a problem with controlling it. During my daughter's 14 and 15th year, she was really a pain. I can remember calling the hubby 2 and 3 times a day with broken things, apologizing. Usually electrical stuff though pictures on the wall crashing and stuff like that also. Asked him to pick me up a blow-dryer on the way home once. He picked up two. As soon as we sent her off to boarding school it stopped for the most part. He said the school was expensive, but balanced with the repair bills.

A lot of the new age stuff kind of bothers me. Doesn't feel comfortable when I read about it, be careful. I don't meditate, but talk a lot, in my mind, to the one/ones around me. My kind of praying unofficially. I pray officially too. Not enough. I don't think we are by ourselves it's just that some listen more. Use to get impatient, very impatient, with people who didn't seem to be listening then realized not everyone can or does - like not everyone plays pro football. I try to listen. Life sometimes gets in the way. Perhaps you need to back off and just start asking, what do you want me to see/hear? I don't think we can force them to communicate. People like to think they are "powerful..." Well, in a way, but not in that way. For me, asking works a lot better.

hey when this happen was it a little sound of static before the phone rung. This has happen to me before. What I really notice I have a strange energy field around me, of lights going off be themselves or turning on. It seems if I try to focus it doesn't work as well but the less I try to focus the more it goes on. Wierd uh...

Well, people who are sensitive can develop a sense of humor. These little things can be seen as funny. I was sound asleep in a recliner in the waiting room of a hospital. My mom was in intensive care almost three months. Suddenly, I slammed shut the chair and jumped up. It was quiet and everyone just looked at me. I sat back down. Then the receptionist phone rang. It was my sister calling to ask for me. We couldn't have our cell phones on there. Someone told me there was a scene a little like this in a movie, maybe my sister. I guess phone things can be funny. My husband has instructed me to wait until he says hello before I say, Hi honey, because it makes him feel weird to know that I know it's him calling. I try to remember. Seems like more hassle, but have only slipped once the past few months.
