What Are My Friends And Me?

Today in school, we were in science class but at the library. My friend Xyla was just sitting in the chair when she suddenly put her head down. I asked her what was wrong. She said her head hurt like it was being stabbed. I suddenly got the worse pain piercing through my stomach. It hurt! I was on the verge of tears. This went on for about 10 minutes when the librarian told us we could check out books and everyone got up. We stayed seated and she moved next to me. She put her head on my shoulder and then started freaking out. She said as soon as she put her head on my shoulder her headache went away. She took her head off me and it came back suddenly. I was still hurting though. Then our other friend Meg sat down and asked us what was going on. I said I didn't know. After a while of random conversation the bell rang, but me and Meg hadn't done something we meant to do, so we stayed behind. After we got it done, we headed to our last class when she started asking me what was going on. I told her the weird things and she suddenly said she had a friend like me, but that she felt like something was after her. Like Meg was protecting her. She said that same thing about me. Like something was after me. Through the day the pain got worse and I was starting to tear up, too out of energy to block it out. Then I felt some sort of shield/barrier. I looked up to see Meg looking at me. I told her and Xyla this after class but none of them knew how that was possible. How did Meg do this and why does Xyla suffer the most?
