This is my third post in the series, and I began this over 2 years ago.
I'm in a bit of a bind this time around.
My two friends from my previous story will be mentioned again here (my psychic friend 'Fern' and my non-psychic friend [now girlfriend] Eliza; as well as a few new people, all of them non-psychic.
In my first entry I discussed strange happenings to myself and my two closest friends, as well as gave my background. In the next story I went into more depth as well as introduced a new 'person'. I am now going to delve in to all the things that have happened to me since then.
I am currently living with my non-psychic friend, Eliza. We share a room, and we also share the house with two other people. I moved in with them a little over a year ago, and during that initial few months Eliza's voice continued to call her name even while I was there! I never heard a thing! She began to think she was going mad because I couldn't hear the voice, even though I am psychic. Then suddenly, the voices stopped altogether.
Later, she would begin to have feelings of something being in our room with us even though I felt nothing. She would be so frightened that I would put up my shield around both of us (which for a few months after Villem's disappearance would not rise at all), but sadly, it is not as strong as it once was. I can feel gaps in it no matter how hard I concentrate. As if it's a bunch of curved mirrors lined up edge to edge; complete, but with cracks. The way it used to be reminded me of one of those reflective contact juggling balls.
I told my roommates that the house was haunted; however the current owner of the master bedroom and her boyfriend (two close friends of ours who are our age, and our Taekwondo masters), scoffed at me. Claiming disbelief in anything spiritual other than god. I refrained from speaking thusly with them ever since. Though I still openly claim the house is haunted. No one believed me. Not even my non-psychic girlfriend who had had all those trying experiences of the paranormal. I told them about how I would hear footsteps upstairs when I knew I was the only one home, or how papers would be thrown about right as you left a room or how cutlery and crockery went missing. How lights and the conditioner/heater and the garage door and televisions would go on and off without prompting. "Electrical malfunctions" or "The house is settling" or "You misplaced it" were typical responses I received. The only thing they did remark upon was how one of their closets seemed to always be at least 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the room, and due to this they never used it. Eventually all activity died down entirely.
About 3 months ago those two roommates left, one moving back to her home in another city and her boyfriend 'moved out' (he never actually lived there, lol, he just had so much of his stuff here and spent so much time here we just told him to "Pay rent and make it official" he even did chores around the house like the rest of us!) back to his old house with his actual roommates a few blocks away. My girlfriend, Eliza, and I took the master bedroom for ourselves.
No one believed that the house was haunted. Until I recently had to make an emergency trip. A close family member had passed away and I left for a week to attend his funeral. He will be missed.
Three days after I left, I received a text message from Eliza. "I believe you, make it go away!" I had a little victory dance in the middle of a crowded store and asked what had happened for her to finally believe me. She replied that electric equipment kept turning on and off, especially the television and she keeps hearing noises from the unused closet! I told her to have no fear and simply ask whatever it was to leave.
And after 3 months of living here Eliza still can't shake the feeling that there is something in here. She has begun night-grinding her teeth, and the talking in her sleep has directed away from 'normal dreams' (about Taekwondo, or needing to get a car) to things that startle me more, she has 'woken' saying things like "It wants me" or "A weapon, a weapon!" or, more recently "Shut the **** up!" She told me that this one was because she heard a voice talking to her, but this time, very masculine, and she couldn't make out what he was saying.
On her way home from Taekwondo practice she apparently had a discussion with our other roommate (we'll call her Reid). It seems that when Eliza woke up screaming "Shut the **** up!" at 4am, 2 hours later, at 6:15am Reid woke to a masculine voice calling her name!
She has also noticed footsteps coming from the master bedroom when no one is home but her. And she feels exhausted all the time (we had all been attributing it to her hard training for her next belt testing, and all her homework in her physics classes) but I am beginning to believe that it might have a more sinister cause.
Also, recently, Eliza has noticed that I have been sleeping much more than I used to do after I moved in. I find it difficult to get to sleep at night until the wee hours of the morning (between 3 and 5am). Then I sleep deeply and tirelessly, usually between 13-16 hours! And in the last few days I've been having annoying muscle spasms in my arms. And I have noticed an unexplained irritability in Eliza. We are unsure if Fern (my psychic-friend from my previous stories) is experiencing anything, or if our newest roommate (lets call her Fay) has experienced anything either. Eliza did remark that Fay looked drained in their classes together. And at first I chalked it up to work and school.
But as with Reid's exhaustion, Eliza's irritability and my sudden need to sleep like a cat; I think we are not only dealing with a haunted house. I think we are dealing with an energy vampire!
Please, anyone who may have any suggestions as how to deal with all of this in our weakened states, we are more than open for suggestions to anyone with the patients to read this posting. Help us?
If you want any interesting background information be sure to read the first two stories, I'm not sure if they fit in, but I may be overlooking something obvious.
Also, please leave comments if you have any questions, I'll be on as often as I can to answer them. Thank you.
It is not impossible at all to have memories of a loved one we never had a chance to meet in this life time. There are many many works detailing how children (the younger, the more frequent) having close connections with deceased loved ones and knowing things they couldn't possibly know. Your grandmother probably visited you while you slept. Astral Projection, especially for one so young at the time, is a recurring theme in many of the cases of what you are talking about. As for ouija boards, I wouldn't put too much stock in them. While they can work for some people as mediums of communication they are notoriously unreliable, especially concerning 'accurately relayed messages'. Ever play the game telephone? Same principle. She is not 'stuck' because of you. She presents herself openly to you to help guide you through life. She wanted so much to meet you and watch you grow that after she passed that is exactly what she does. What she was trying to say is she is having trouble communicating with you. Spirits vibrate at a completely different speed than do our earthbound souls in our bodies. Imagine trying to communicate with someone running laps around you. You are not crazy, and I guarantee you that when she passed she got into Heaven (or whatever particular afterlife you believe in, they are all connected) without trouble. But she is free to come and visit whenever she pleases. If she makes you uncomfortable ask her to only present herself in your dreams or when you are asleep. Its easier there because our subconscious is more in-tune with her frequency than our waking selves, and we don't get the 'stained-glass effect' of her message filtering through our conscious minds. Good luck. Thank you for your post.
