We were on a trip visiting my husband's mother. I had a headache the whole day. Nothing seemed to get rid of it no matter how much aspirin I took. I think I took close to 1600 milligrams for the day. And believe me, I wanted to take a lot more. We were about 30 minutes away from home and we had a car crash. Our car was totaled.
I took a drink from the soda. I had looked up after closing it. Next thing I saw was the truck in front of us. His brake lights, then him swerving out of the way almost hitting the car next to him. My husband stomped on his brakes. We were going about 65mph and hit the car about 35mph. My knee's had hit the dashboard. And the wind knocked out of me. But then I figured out what we had actually hit. It was a stalled car parked in the middle lane of the freeway. The guy had gotten out of the car and stood on the side of the road. I actually think he had started to go back home or something. But it was really dark out and the car had no flashers on or anything. What's weird is that right before the wreck my headache had gone away. I mean like maybe a minute or two before.
I don't know how often that kind of thing happens to people but I just wanted to know what other people thought. I can't seem to get over the accident now. It seems when riding in a car I just kind of freak out. I mean we even get close to a car, I feel like grabbing a hold of something. I just have to wonder if the headache was like my little warning light going off.
My husband actually says that if I get another headache like that, he isn't even to go to work. I guess I just need to meditate on the whole thing and see what to do from here on out. But please anyone who wants to give there two cents please do.
