Before I Sleep I See Faces

Seeing faces when I closed my eyes started when I was a child of maybe 5 or 6 years old.
They would start as a small white dot in the distance and then over a period of a few seconds zoom up to being super close very large in super high definition. Every wrinkle every facial detail. The faces seemed mostly expressionless and they were mostly older people I had never seen before.
This scared me at first but gradually it became a bit of a novelty and I would see one face and then once I had explored every detail it would zoom back out into the distance into a pin prick white dot and shortly thereafter be replaced by a new face in the same manner and so on.
As I grew older I started seeing these faces on people I was interacting with so I now know they were visions of my future. I know it seems pretty far out but many years later I started getting visions of numbers while awake with my eyes open. These were of 2 of my interests 1) The gold price and 2) The bitcoin price.
I went on to make the most accurate predictions in recorded history for both these markets.
I'm not showing off, actually I treated both of these market visions as experiments to see if I really could see the future at will. It's all out there in internet land and on twitter you can actually see my time and date stamped video of my main Bitcoin predictions. I'm not going to include a link as it may be seen as self promotion and blocked from use on this site and this is not why I am here.

I am here to share my experience and let you know that you to may just have an ability similar to mine.

Hi all it's good I found this website and similar people with same experiences. Thankfully I am not alone. My experience is so similar with that of described by Special. I see random faces of people aged between 40-60 with no emotions not happy niether sad they don't scare they just look at me they are still. My dad passed away 4 years ago his face was first I started seeing when I was closing my eyes or when I was relaxed. Now it makes sense to me they are spirits who are trying to contact to us who want us to know something that they couldn't tell this world before leaving I would suggest try to communicate and ask them in your mind to tell you information in your dreams (in dreams it doesn't look scary) I am sure they will communicate back to you. My dad did with me in my dreams on my request. It happens to people who are angels or spiritual in nature with different energy and attitude and some sixths sense or third eye opened. ❤ ❤

That's crazy, I have seen them too. But I honestly thought it was maybe because I looked at Facebook for too long or something. But the people I was seeing were specific and had defining features, I thought if I am making these faces up myself I am doing a damn good job and a fast one too. They were like a slideshow but I can only see them with my eyes closed. So weird.

I forgot to mention: When I first started having these experiences, they just happened spontaneously. Now I can control the slide show and turn it on or off when I want. When I've had one of those horrible days at work, and I'm lying in bed stewing on events, I'm able to open up that portal at will to see who's waiting for me on the other side. It acts as a catalyst to stop the negative head talk.

Oh boy! I've been seeing these faces for a while. I find it quite interesting. Not sure what it is but I suspect it just a thought form wavelength of some type. I've only had one experience that concerned me. It wasn't negative so much as I distinctly had the impression that a dark image I saw had died under suspicious circumstances or a person connected with this individual had died. The image was of a football player, dark hair, professional, doing that kneeling pose they do for photographs (one forearm lying on a right knee, the other knee down on the ground). This pose was in black and white, the jersey looked like it was from the 50's or 60's, he had beautiful dark hair combed to one side, parted on the left (like men wore it during that time period). However, the right side of his face was hidden in very dark shadows and I could only get a glimpse of the left side of his face (again lots of gray shadows). That's the only time I've ever flashed a black & white image or one that was shadowed.

The faces are multi-cultural and transcend time, gender, and age groups so these aren't relatives. I suspect these are images from people that have passed over - sort of dipping the toe into the surface of akashic records perhaps. I have to admit, I love the slide show every night! 😁

I see these faces as well... I do not have an answer as to what they are, but nonetheless, I am glad I am not the only one who sees them.

I too see strange faces after I close my eyes. I think it is because I am in a semi trance state and very relaxed. I have asked my mentor, too, what to do? They have suggested I ask Source (or God, Mother, whatever you call It) to assist me in opening this gift further. I am so happy to see others like me.

I would guess that your "white lighter" was telling you that he had already "gone to the light"--meaning, found his "home" after he passed--as distinguished from "ghosts"--the true earth-bound spirit who thinks they are caught in astral.

So, my guess would be this "white-lighter" was there to help others or to communicate with someone (you?) in order to help their growth. You have the opportunity to learn to distinguish the two, perhaps, by the way this white-lighter was different from other "ghosts" you have seen. I don't see them, so can't really comment. But I would imagine there is some qualitative difference in the light.

Maybe others have actual experience differentiating the two.

What about the fact that they read my thoughts... Sometimes I feel as though I have to watch my every word cause I hear a response to everything I'm thinking... I need to learn to understand everything about spirits and ghost... Recently there is a ghost who keeps yelling to me he's a white lighter... I don't know what the difference is... Do you?

I can relate to you. Almost every night, after I close my eyes, I see faces and sometimes full body figures. I've never tried to communicate with them but they also never seem to want tio harm me in any way. They don't really scare me except if I see someone that is injured. One night I saw a man and his neck was cut open and his face was bruised and scratched plus he was really close to my face. But that was the only time I was scared of them. I'd say try and talk to them. Sorry I can't give you answers to who these spirits are.

I was around 30 years old when I first started seeing faces. My visions occurred several times a month over a period of about 3 years. Then I did not see faces again until recently. I am 61 years old now.

Just after I closed my eyes to go to sleep, faces would begin to appear. One face at a time (for a few seconds.) Without disappearing, each face changed into another, then another and so on. I do not recall ever seeing the same face twice. I could still see the faces when I opened my eyes but the visions were clearer when my eyes were closed. The faces were not directly in front of me. They did not move around the room or get closer to me. They stayed in the center of our bedroom. I could look directly at them or look away from them. Almost all were men. Judging by their faces, I think they were 40 to 55 years old and had had more than their share of struggles. The first time I saw the faces, the fact that I was seeing them startled me but I have never been frightened by the faces, themselves. I'd be scared half to death if they came racing towards me!

I never get the feeling they are trying to tell me something or that they want anything. They do not look either happy or sad. They just look at me. I have no idea who the faces belong to. Sometimes, I think maybe my imagination creates the faces. That thought frightens me!

Hi. I have been experiencing the same thing as you have, its been happening for like 3 months now ans it only happens when I shut my eyes at night. I see peoples face and mostly peoples eyes come flying out of the distance and come right close to my face. Occasionally I can say someons name and objects and people come into my vision to tell that person. Its starting to freak me out what does it mean.? Help

Many are our past relatives who decided to become our guides and help us on our journey. Others are here to share their loving energy in order to help our advancement this lifetime. I have a great-grandmother and also my dad that are now my guides... You are also Loved that much. I'm sure your guides are many also...

that sounds awesome! You are much loved! Do you know what they are? Are they people that have passed?

They are generally gathered around my bed...lol. That's what I get for asking my guides to heal me of beliefs that are stopping me from evolving more...It's more like a glow outlining each entity and casting light on the whole room. I drift off to sleep quickly... The loving energy makes me feel at peace.

I am native american and lived on my tribal land, so I was surrounded by relatives that I have never met before. When I was in minnesota a few years ago, I heard my papa say "lulu". The voice was definitely his, but I have not heard it since I was eight (13 years earlier). I chalked it up to a memory stored in the depths of my mind...

However, there are some white people, that I do not believe are the relatives I picked up on the reservation, so I am hoping they are spiritual guides! Now, I am kind of excited to go to bed tonight and not be frightened.

Some may simply be passed relatives... Others may be your spiritual guides there to help you become more and open up. Then there are some who are drawn to our energies... Like a fly to a zapper. They may even seek your help from time to time. Yes, they are there constantly, but usually you are not focused on them during the day... So you don't see them.

oh, barry2962, as for the light that enters the room- I have never seen that. It sounds rather pleasant. What happens when it enters your room- does it stay there? Or does it vanish through the walls?

I don't fear of them hurting me, I just get super paranoid. It is a weird feeling to know you are being watched all the time (as I am suspecting more and more that 'at night' isn't the only time they are watching). Do you ever feel this way? What do you think these faces want?

Maybe I am just going crazy...? But I doubt that <== probably something a crazy would say.

Many nights when I wake up... I see faces, but here lately it has been eyes. Like they are leaning over me directly above my face... Watching me intently. It doesn't feel threatening in any way... So it doesn't bother me. I am also seeing many spirits of light entering my room right before I go to sleep. Sometimes their light actually lights up the room. What helped me not to be afraid was understanding that what I see is a Part of myself and therefore I would Never harm myself.

it makes it more real to me to hear that other people are having the same experiences. I thought I was completely alone.

I see the eyes of strangers at night before I fall asleep; sometimes I can see more of their faces, but mainly just their eyes. They appear like I was looking at a neon light before I closed my eyes- I just see an outline of light without color. Some are happy, some are content, some even evil-looking. Sometimes I try to see more... But I feel like I cannot control what is going on and my breathing becomes something I need to concentrate on... I get scared then stop before I see anything else.

One weekend during high-school I stayed up late playing tomb raider on my playstation and I started to hear really loud voices (completely unrelated to this post, sorry). It was so loud that I immediately got freaked out turned off my game and went to bed terrified with the pillow over my head. I guess I am telling you this because this is when it started, and I thought it would have been something I would understand by now... I am even more confused.

The people I see at night scare me, they are people I have never seen before, and I cannot control when I see them. Does anyone have words of wisdom? Someone that can help? Haha, kind of worried over here, bedtime is in the next hour or so and I am not tired...

I googleD 'seeing faces when I close my eyes' and arrived here. Yes, it happens as I am falling asleep, and sometimes it makes me chuckle, that is if what I am seeing is cute or entertaining. I wondered why thiis happens, so here I am. Are they really people who were once among the livng? I know pretty assuredly that life does not end when our bodies wear out and 'give up the ghost'.

I am born on 10/12 and I and my family frequently look at the clock at those times, without thinking about it. For me tho, the 1012 has given away to 1256, which is of no significance to me.

I am very interested in doing a past life regression experience, but only with someone very reputable. I live in the phoenix, az area. Any suggestions? Peace <3

This happened to me the other night just as I closed my eyes to go to sleep, I saw the faces as if they where in a black and white negitive image. They seemed to come from a distance then faded away I could see the profile but did not reconise any of them. Maybe we're all just going crazy!

I experience this as well. Sometimes I see faces that look demon-like, which sounds silly, I know. Other times, I see older people and they usually have very little expression. I've always believed in psychic abilities and definitely know I have the gift. I shut this out for years, but now am starting to open myself up again. Good Lord, when you do that, it's like people trying to get in a store the morning after Thanksgiving - just a rush of images come in. 😁 What I do is try to see them as clearly as I can. Most of the time, they leave. And if the image is too freaky, I block it out. This is definitely a process and one I hope to better in time.

Good question: How long will this continue to happen? I started seeing the floating faces way back in 1997, prior to this other experiences as listed on my bio. In August 2001, it became a major concern to me because of the frequency 'every night.' It stopped the day 9-11 happened, a few months later the faces returned yes they were strangers to me but not to my brother after I gave detailed descriptions. You see it works both ways you see the living and those who have departed. 'True understanding' can knock on anyone's door at anytime, anywhere and at any age when you come to terms with your abilities. By releasing the fear you begin to breathe in your true purpose the world in turn becomes your treasure.

I'm so happy to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this! It's wonderful! I too see faces when my eyes are closed, and I'm very relaxed getting ready to go to sleep, but definitely NOT asleep. When I'm seeing these faces, I'm fully aware and not in a dream state. They just come out of the darkness, they kind of float around until they become very close, close enough to see features very clearly. As soon as one leaves, another one arrives. They are mostly black and white in color, with maybe a redish tint. They are of all ages, and look mostly male, but I can't see their hair clearly, so maybe that's why they look male to me. I have never seen a face that I've recodnized, they are all total strangers, and I see them vividly enough to know this. They have no expression, although I could say they look mostly sad. They do not scare me, they never have, it's just very normal for me. I never told anyone before today! I told my mother, and she was very understanding and interrested, so it kind of made me want to learn about it some more. I always assumed it was a brain thing, but I'm open to the possibility that it might be spiritual, and these might actually be spirits from the other side. I know some see evil, demon like faces. I've never seen these types of faces, thank goodness! Maybe then I would be scared.

I have this same thing. Here is my post from a different site;

For about a year or so I have been having this uncontrollable slideshows in my mind before I go to bed. They are of people. I am in a state where I can ask them who they are. When I do, this small voice of what seems to be a little girl tells me or the people to "stop talking" not in a mean way but in a way where I or the faces are disrupting something. I also get the color yellow a lot or see the color yellow in the presence of these faces. I don't fear these presences but I can't seem to get past asking them what they are doing if anything at all. They can get a little annoying when they don't answer.

I can't be sure what this is but all I know is that it can have something to do with my psychic senses, and your senses too.
