My name is Lilly, I'm 13 and scared like... Well I'm just plain scared really.

It started when I was 12. All that really happened was that I could tell what was going to be on TV a week before it was on. Then it started with books I could tell what book I was going to read before I even awoke.

Then about a week later our teacher (sorry but I won't say his/her name) was out sick and even tough we had many subs I knew which one was going to come in.

Also, I think it runs in the family. You see my parents put my brother in a mental home because he 'saw' things and a few years later he hung himself. My idea is that we (my brother and myself) got it from our grandmother. I know this because she was in a really bad war. But she always knew when to run or to hide. She finally found freedom and moved to Holland.

But I really think this because we are all left handed only the three of us. And I think my parents know because when they found out I was left handed they change me to being right handed.

And I get deja vu all the time and I think that really scares me the most.

Not crazy. That happens to me too. Sometimes I'll be reading a book and I'll have a sense that I have read it before. I haven't because I had only gotten it that day.
I am scared out of my wits at times. I haven't told my mum and dad because they will put me in a psych ward.

Chill out and live your life because generally life just goes on. With me I had no-one but I got mine off my Nana who died a couple of years ago. Oooops. Sorry I forgot to say that I am 13 also.

PS And I'm supposed to have a photographic memory! I have a few abilities and they are supposedly good. But they are truly annoying!

Hi Lilly,

You are certainly not alone and I am very sorry to hear about your brother. I do believe that this does run in families and your sensitivities to the world that others can not see; does not mean that there is something "wrong" with you. I do hope that you find that this site is helpful in supporting people like you. Please do a search online for indigo children or crystal kids. These children are believed to possess a special way of "being" in this world. They are those who are meant to usher the world into the next phase... A peaceful one. Even though you have been taught to be right handed, be both. Being scared is completely natural and completely understandable. But you are here for a reason. A very GOOD reason. We all need to accept people who have these extraordinary gifts. It is believed that it is the next step in the evolution of humans. The mind is such a powerful and mysterious "thing" that is capable of so many GREAT things. So please, find a community here on line if you can't find one locally. Please keep writing in a diary or posting. It is a difficult time to be such a young person and having parents who "know" but are too afraid or just not capable of supporting your sensitivities. But, please, don't be afraid. Embrace it. Learn more about yourself and how important you are for this world. There's a lot of work that needs to be done and we all have to be willing to accept ourselves as we are... I wish you peace and love...

Hi, Lily I am 13 too, I have been getting some of the things the same as yours recently, I was and am slightly scared, I shared this with my parents, they understood and contacted Mediums and other people for advice, I understand that you probably aren't in a good position to tell your parents.

I would recommend that you read some of the other posts on here, its nice to know that you aren't alone. You can always post anonymously on here, if you feel you have to share. Or maybe write a secret diary.
