A Past Life?

So, I don't know how to begin the story. But I have had multiple clairvoyant experiences and I have thought myself to be an empath for quite a long time, I've posted about these experiences before and talked to other people about them before so I'm not concerned with any of that at the moment.

However, what I wanted to post was that I have always been very spiritual and have felt "connected" with everyone and everything. Lately I have been getting random flashbacks, almost like memories, of things and places, all of which are things I was not actually there for, and usually they are not even involving anyone I currently know. This also has been occurring in my dreams.

So my question is, could I be having visions of a past life? (I kind of believe that a soul can possibly just pass on to another life, so that's why I thought it was possible). I just don't feel like these "flashbacks" are the same as any of the experiences I've had before with any spirits or visions. It doesn't exactly worry me, but I'm just becoming really interested if there is more to my life than the current one I'm living, I'd love to be able to figure out if I actually was another person or being at a point in my life. Has anyone else out there thought or had experiences leading them to believe they've seen into a past life? Any kind of answers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks:)

They could either be flashbacks or regular dreams which feel real. Are you an imaginative, seriously creative person? Do you feel, literally feel with all your soul, not your mind, that these were real events? If you answered yes to the first question, only accept them as visions of your past life/lives if you feel it's true in your soul. Your soul does not accept lies, people who know their souls look very intelligent, yet we all have the same knowledge of the way life is, it's just some look into their minds to find reality, and some look into their souls. The mind is an extension of the soul, but its subject to things like conscious and sub conscious interpretation. The mind can be right about anything, but it can be wrong also, the soul is never wrong.

I would definitely think that the dreams would be of past lives. I agree with day2day, make sure you write everything down so it's not forgotten and maybe you can start comparing the older ones to the newer ones and you might find some connections there. Now, as far as the random flashbacks and memories go that aren't yours... Next time that happens think about where you are and who is around you. You might be reading someone else's feelings or thoughts. Once I was in the restroom and there was only one other woman in there and as soon as I walked past her a "memory" popped into my head of this man that I missed really badly and just wanted to see him again and I missed him so bad that I felt sick to my stomach, his picture popped into my head and everything and then I realized that I had no idea who that man was, I wasn't missing anybody and it wasn't even my memory at all! It was very strange but after the "memory" disappeared I felt that other woman's pain and sadness and I knew that it was hers. After she left the room, I felt like myself again.

Hi Twitch. I'm brand new here and definitely not an expert on past lives, but here's my two cents for what it's worth. Whenever I have an experience with a dream, the first thing I do after waking up is to be aware of how I feel, and the second thing is to go over all the details of the dream and write it down so nothing is missed. If I did miss something, I could just add it in later.

The point is if you are dreaming of people and places you don't know or recognize, details of a dream, know matter how tiny, may give you the answers your looking for. For example, What kind of clothes are the people wearing? What kind of location are you in? A city with buildings, or a countryside with house on it? Do things look old or new? Any street signs or numbers around you? Etc... The more information you get, the better chances of finding some sort of answer. Good Luck.

I truly believe in these 'visions' of past life experience and I think I've had them myself.

Also, one of my children when he was about 2 or 3 would chatter away about things eg "when we lived in Africa we had a cow" or " we used to live in Holland". Obviously the first thing you think is he must have picked it up subliminally somewhere but I'm not so sure.

I really want to do regressive hypnotherapy as I believe that our past lives absolutely affect our current ones. Call it karma, whatever.

Hey, I get these more and more often. Past lives are enough to give anyone identity problems. You can tell when things in visions etc. Are from the Past, Present, or Future. If you can, talk to your spirit guide and other ghosts close to you (if you don't know how, that't okay-it's confusing). Personally, I've uncovered multiple past-lives, in which I don't know the name I was called by. Only my true Name gave away that it was me. And the agonizingly creepy details.
Hope to help
