Experiencing Someone Else's Journey

I have a cousin who had been in a very serious accident on the 4th of December 2010, So much to the point that he nearly died if the police who were there at the scene hadn't did cpr on him, he is now in a coma. From the very first day I had visited him I have had very very horrible dreams and has never stopped, this is why I am posting because of the fact that I just can't explain things like the dreams as well as effects it's having on me. Two nights ago as my daughter who is 3 months had woken up for a bottle I had turned the light on and felt so much pain in my eyes and couldn't even open them for at least 2 minutes. I have never had that happen to me ever, of course you have the occasional sore eyes from being in the dark then seeing bright lights but this was different it hurt all around my eyeball area on both eyes, I assumed that it had something to do with my cousin, then last night I felt my body being drained out as well as my mind not being all there, I feel that it has something to do with my cousin in hospital, has anyone, anyone ever had such things happen to them like this, I'm not scared of it just curious, I do come from a family that is very spiritual, but I just need to know if having this effects your life in terms of every experience becoming more stronger and intense.
