My Hair Turned White After a Ghost Experience

The first vision I had, I was about 14 years old. It started with a scared, cold feeling of a presence, I looked down where the feeling came from, where I saw a decayed hand reaching for my ankle. I jumped on my bed and was frozen in fright, then I saw a vision of body bag with someone, not quite dead still inside rustling on the floor in front of me. I saw this vision as clear as day, I can still see the material of that bag in my mind. I felt the person was female and around 18-30 years of age.

This was the scariest vision I ever saw while awake. I never did investigate whether this person needed help which I still feel bad about. From then on, I had a female spirit with me much of the time. She was loving and caring. I coward from my abilities at age 20-22yrs, so I don't feel her anymore if she is still with me.

My question is: my hair turned white, is that just a coincidence or does that really happen? It didn't all turn white, I grew in a skunk line on the right side of my head about 1 1/2 - 2" wide. It started in slowly but was solid white around 20years old. I have naturally dark hair, so I started dying it at 18years, and have parted it on the left side since!

Has anyone else encountered this? Or is it just a coincidence?

that usually happens when you get super scared. If you die from fear, your hair usually turns all white. But don't worry, it can also be a pigment hair problem thing. It happens sometimes, so don't worry.

I was very glad to see this post. I experienced a year long extremely violent haunting from and very angry and violent spirit. After leaving my home, I noticed also a white streak in my hair. I have searched everywhere for advice about this.
You are not alone. I don't know if the streak is a result of contact with the spirit, or the resulting stress and fright.
Probably both. I just wish I could find more on the net about it.

It has to do with a latent chemical that is triggered, in odd cases which can be due to literal shock.

grey hair can start at a early age because o stress. There's a magic spell I don't know If those things work where it can change your hair. There was a boy in school one day he just got a grey spot on his hair. Maybe its just a thing what happens it might not be anything to do with what you experienced. 😐

This is not unheard of... When a very shocking event happens one can actually change their hair color to gray and even white. You see there is a chemical in the hair and when it is not released the hair can stop producing the carotine. I've heard stories about this where one gentlemen only 16 had been scared to death, I mean like shocked out of his mind, so stressed that his hair just turned white... It sounds unbelievable, but again it does happen... So maybe this experience was so shocking to you that this action took place. Some people just stop producing the color and some people just do it at a quicker pace.

I'm not your age - 49, but it is the same skunk line. That's what I named it too. Blends more with blonde. I've seen stuff too though. Haven't seen a lot of these lines though.

Maybe it's a physical thingy. I have the same line on my right side, but blonde everywhere else. It's the same width. I keep looking at it, wondering if I should dye it. The husband says it is barely noticeable, but my 15 son notices it. It may be more... I don't know.

i'm so glad to hear of this story. Here I am thinking "that it can't be" spiritual in that sense, but then again, yes, very much so. I've watched "nightmare on elm street", the movie, where this same significance was on the girl's hair. Now, I'm starting to grow the grey hair, and what's funny is, that it's only on the side, which will become a streak of grey. I've been doing research to find out exactly what it is, if there's anyone else out there, please share your knowledge. I'm sure you and I are not the only ones. What I mean is that those type of movies had to have some sort of a foundation to how they came about, think about it... And how so close it relates to our experiences. I just keep going to church, and asking God for guidance... God Bless...

it could just be pigment discolouration my friend has that and she doens't believe in ghosts

I'm glad you share your experience. I had a similar experience that I will share soon with you in this site. But in my personal opinion, the experience don't have to be a bad one to have that kind of effects. Sometimes, when we have contact or an experience with a supernatural or paranormal force, changes like that can happens. The experience can be one so shocking (in a possitive or negative way) that can make that kind of changes. Also happens when a person go trough a lot of "stress", I mean, a very very stressful situation. In my personal experience, the change took place inmmediatly after the contact with the vision. But also can be a family pattern.
This is my humble opinion 😊

Thank you for rsponding melody. The experience was very terrifying, especially since I never experienced anything before. The only other scary experience I had was the OBE, as I didn't feel in control. I wondered if that is why it went white, because it is white. In my fathers line, a few have gone grey younger then normal, but none have spotting.

I didn't really think about the fact that that experince was soo scary becuase the female spirit that was with me from then on was soo loving.

Is it just the fact that the experience was soo frightening that it had nothing to do with aquiring a gift of ESP?

I was just curious also if anyone else had scary visions like that?

Hi sad. The first incident you had at 14 years of age sounds terrifying. It must have effected you severely if you can still recall it with such clarity. Was this the experience that started the white streak to come in? I've heard of a few people who have gone gray at a very early age but it always seems to follow a family pattern and begin all over the head, not just a streak. Also, that was gray, not white. I have seen people who have white spots or streaks and these are birthmarks and have been present since birth or since their true hair color comes in (you know how little blond children's hair usually darkens?) I think your white streak began because of the awful fright you had and the impression it left on you.
