As an older child I began visiting another dimension. I was sitting in my closet, as I did so often, spaced out - I suppose it was a form of accidental meditation, when my invisible spirit friend, Tommy, said "Follow me." I quickly found myself in two places at once.
I was still staring at the wall of my closet but most of my vision and senses were in a new world.
Tommy was standing beside me, and I saw two other spiritual friends, Krezin and Wiggy, both of which are demons. They greeted me and said it was about time that I see where they spent their time. I remained silent; I was extremely calm. I looked up at the sky and it was green and looked warped downward. A large moon-like object shined a strange kind of white down, lighting up this new world.
"It turns black sometimes," Krezin told me about the moon. "From where your body is, this is the parallel." From then on I called it The Parallel. I gazed around and everything was slightly crooked. The "grass" was fine like perfectly straight, gray hair. The road was about an inch inward and was soft and black.
My three friends led me down the road to show me a few things. Trees were white and sometimes black, with long white hair as opposed to branches. A creek of water was flowing up a strange rock as opposed to down and the water seemed to glow; I would later try to drink some of it and it fell through my palm.
I have gone back many, many times since then. I still call it The Parallel. The "people" who reside there tend to have solid colored eyes with no whites or pupil, and unless they are of them "demon" category, they are often melancholic. On bad days, the white moon does turn black and the sky grows to a darker gray-green.
This place is extremely hard to describe but I hope I've painted some kind of a picture.
I'm just not afraid of demons. I don't think these are demons in the sense of "we're going to rip you to pieces for no reason because we don't like God." They're a little higher on the scale than that.
