Premonition Could Have Saved my Dog's Life

My sister and I were 12 or 13 and were downstairs in the kitchen getting ready for school. Our mom was upstairs sleeping still. We let the dog, Suzie - Lhasa Apso, outside to pee, and were eating our cereal. About 10 minutes later, my mother came running downstairs screaming "where is Suzie? She got hit by a car!" She was frantic about it and kept saying she heard the car screeching and hit her. We told her she was outside peeing like always.

As I went over to the kitchen door to call her inside, we all heard the car screeching, and the thud and yelp of a dog. I remember my father going outside with a towel to bring her in the house. I remember her lying on the floor in front of us all gasping and bleeding from her mouth. I remember my father was on the phone with the vet telling him that her head was bobbing back and forth, then I remember her tongue came out of her mouth she stopped jerking and we all screamed and cried.

This was my first experience with death, and it hit me hard. I loved that dog and I was devastated for weeks afterwards. I realized after I calmed down that this whole thing could have been prevented. If my mother had come down just a second or two sooner, I could have gotten the dog away from the danger. What was that? I became very interested in ESP, and mediums at this time. Any information I could find in book stores I would read. I think "Seth Speaks" and the "Exorcist" were about the only thing on the bookshelves at that time of any interest. It was very hard to get any information at all. I also kept questioning my mom about my great grandma.

I've recently experienced something similar. I had a dream that something was wrong with my best friend's dog. He was limping badly, and was very sick. My friend kept asking me to help him figure out what was wrong with him. Every time I talked to my friend after that I had the urge to find out if his dog was okay. A few weeks later he told me that the dog had a terminal disease, and its leg was likely going to be amputated. I felt miserable because I did not warn him.

I am very sorry for your loss. Losing a dog to such an accident is the worst! I ALMOST had a similiar situation happen to me, but luckily it wasn't my dog. I was at work one day, thinking about my dog. Before going to work, my brother was working in my back yard. My dog loved running in the neighbors yards, peeing, or whatever, and he loved running across the street, too. You know, checking the area out. A few times he got out of the yard, and almost got hit, but fortunately he didn't. Anyway, at work, I was thinking of him, and had a bad thought enter my head, thinking, "My brother better not let that dog get hit by a car!" My brother isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but I think he would responsibly try to keep the dog in the yard. Not even a half-hour later, I got a call from my sister. She said that the dog got hit by a car, and died. She sounded so sad on the phone. I was in tears, and telling the supervisor that I needed to go home, that my dog just died. As I was leaving, I got a return call. Sis called back, and said that it wasn't my dog, but a dog that looked JUST LIKE HIM! My dog was safe at home, and she verified it. It was still sad, and I don't wish the death of a dog on ANYONE! My sister's boyfriend was comforting the dog by petting it. It was too severely injured. The owner came down the street on his bicycle, and started crying his eyes out. He had been looking for it. It was really sad! I was fortunate that day, but my dog did end up passing away 10 years later, from a tragic occurance that I won't go into. I miss him immensely, to this day! I'll love my dog forever!

The death of someone, whether human or animal, is the worst premonition that anyone can have! I hate premonitions of dread. About 5 years after the situation with my dog occured, I had another premonition. My mom was sick with emphysema and chronic bronchitis. I was at work, and wondering how mom was doing. I know she was sick all the time, and it hurt me to see her in such a situation. Well, after worrying about her one day, a thought of dread came over me. I couldn't shake it! Then, a few minutes later, I got a call at work. My brother said that mom was in the hospital. She had a breathing problem, a really bad one. He came and picked me up from work, and we drove to the hospital. Luckily, she was breathing normally (as normal as she could breathe at the time!) and we all sighed in relief. The doctor gave her some meds, and we all went home. She had been in the hospital several times after that before passing away in 2001.

WOW, that really has to suck big time to see your dog death like that. Hay, that's what permonitions can do, sometimes I hate mines because their filled with rage now and then. But yeah, ask your mom a little more about her dreams and things, because theirs a probably that you or your sister may have inherent this gene from your mother too. I think mines is a new being with permonitions of my generation. I hope I have help you out a little bit.

so your mum had a dream of a future event it always happens to me. I go through it all the time. It either Precognition / Premonition because look he put you in that category. Look in the glossary to see what they both mean and look round on the website and it tells you the difference between them both.
