I would like to start out by saying that this does involve something that might be classified as a haunting but I'm not being "haunted" per-say. I just believe I can feel them in close proximity to me.
Ok, so basically I have always had a keen sense for knowing when someone was sneaking up on me. When my mind is clear, and I am rather relaxed, no one can sneak up behind me at all. I always feel them. For instance, when I was in school - as laid back as I was - it was always easy for me to sense someone's presence anywhere in relatively close proximity to me. Back then, I would say that the closest I remember feeling someone was about five feet. It's not that far I guess, but still gave me enough time to turn around and surprise the would-be surpriser. If that makes sense.
Anyway, about sensing others...Today, funny enough, I walked out of my bathroom and went to the kitchen to get a drink, and I felt a strong presence in my dining room/living room area. I looked around, but didn't see anyone or anything so I continued back to my room. Without telling me, my girlfriend was hiding out in the dining room, waiting to surprise me but I never passed where she was. In fact, I wasn't even within ten feet of her. So, I thought that was interesting.
Finally, even right now as I type this (but mainly when I am home by myself and walking outside of my room) I sometimes can feel someone near me. It looks at me, wants my attention, and then I don't really feel it again until another day or even as little as ~five hours. I don't know what it is, and I apologize if this is a little too much of a haunting. Just thought I'd share. It doesn't feel like it's a malevolent being, just someone who maybe passed over. Maybe a family member?
So, I guess my final thought should actually be a final question. Is this something to do with being psychic? Or is it just everyone's ability to be able to feel other people's presence? Thanks in advance!
Does anybody know what it is
