Ability To Predict Future Happenings?

I had a dream kind of like this. My dream wasn't a happy dream or something slightly unhappy, my dream was really sad. I had a dream about my grandmother and in my dream I was really upset. I woke up that morning to the sound of the phone ringing. When I got up my mom asked me if I heard the phone ringing and I said yes and she said that it was someone calling to say that my grandmother had died. Is it odd that I dreamt of her while she was dying? What does that mean? I guess that is kind of similar to your dreams, dreaming about things while they're happening.

You are lucky you get pleasant visions. I get dark ones... Litterally! They are shadows and ones of unpleasant things to comes. I Have just recently started getting them and am REALLY trying to make them clearer because they include peoples lives. I Also get a pain in my head that tells me: 'Close your eyes and clear your mind'
And then, the shadows come. How Could I possibly control this! They have been not only about people close to me but about things in the world, mostly canada. I have had 4 of them and have a fifth shadow scene which completely stumps me. My latest one happened yesterday with the B.C water bomber going down, plus the helicopter before that. The oil spill was my first one. The incident at the stampede with the ride crash was my second. Help?

I understand you hate it! I haven't liked it in the past, but everything - I know it's cliched, but it's true and has been proved to me over and over - that these things all happen for a reason, even the seemingly bad things.

I see mostly good things now, but I went through years of hardship and saw terrible things but they were designed to prepare me emotionally in a way that if I had just had the negative thing happen, I would have been gutted more so.

Listen to this: I had a premonition my friend who dreamed of having a baby girl, and was 6 months pregnant, was definitely going to have a baby boy! She hated me after I told her, but my Master Guide assured me that it helped her bond with her baby boy because she would have emotionally rejected her baby boy, she didn't in the end... There is no proof either way but all my friends since then, said: it will have helped her. I have had to accept I lost that friendship because of her negative reaction, but spiritually it helped her on a higher level & I knew I just had to accept that pain based on God's Will for her. I had to put her first.

With your exam results, I was a grade-A student but I knew I was going to fail some exams because I was too ill.
I then did, and though my life was filled with hardship because I didn't have a straight forward academic path, I knew I was meant to take the journey I did because it took me on a spiritual journey that was more important in terms of growing my spirit.

I am the person I am meant to be + have learned life lessons that have made me more appreciative and compassionate, particularly of all the little things in life - not that I ever took them for granted:-)

And also, I realized just now that sometimes there are dreams of mine which seems to have pattern. Like, if I took an examination and of course you are looking forward to see the results. I saw it from my dream that I didn't pass the examination I took yet in my dreams I saw my name posted in a very surreal part of the page and yes I didn't pass the next day.

Second experience, I recently took an examination and I just found out yesterday that I didn't pass the test and I already seen it through my dreams the same as the first one with my name somewhere weird in my dream and as I woke up that day, I didn't know that the Organization in-charged for the release of the examinations result happened that morning. And the realization came to me this late. Gosh! Whats happening?
I hate this.

I know it is hard not to fear it but perhaps with time - being part of this community - you will find that fear less difficult to manage.

I used to feel obsessed with the time, but I accepted some time ago that spiritual rhythms meant that this was not all in my head - something proved/'validated' for me time & time again. One thing I do understand is how scary it can be to watch things come true: I used to have real problems with panic attacks because of this - I struggled so much to accept when things came true. I'm better now, but so glad you are on here so I can share with somebody who understands how difficult this can be to process.

Eric-Baal is right totally - you have precognitive dreaming ability. At the moment it is through dreams but it will develop further, like seeing spirits in dreams, they also often always start showing you things so that you can adjust to what you are sensing, seeing and experiencing until they appear to you with your eyes open and you are by then able to cope with it. Likewise, you may see changes in the way something appears while you are awake, think you are imagining things when you see images that "aren't there"! But eventually what you see in your dreams may, as it did with me, come to fruition when you are out and about each day going to the coffee shop, walking down the street, sitting in the living room chatting to somebody etc etc.

On a very serious note: your ability is there to support you in your life and, eventually, as Adaryn7 says, when you are ready - to help others.

But do remember one very important thing: there is no rush to be thrust in to a world of helping others - YOU matter too in the way that you also have to be ready to deal with what this responsibility entails: this is a massive area. Your own mental, physical and emotional health are no less but equally important.

You're doing really well.
Write as much as you can down, so you have a working journal to help you - keep them safe:-)

If psychic ability worked that way, then psychics would be the richest people in the world! It's actually something that skeptics often use to "disprove" psychic ability. The way I see it, all it means is that we don't have these powers for our own benefit; that we ought to devote our lives to helping others.

I realise you're just making a joke, but I think you raise an interesting point as well.

i had dreams where my hometown was flooded, or getting flooded.

I've only had precognition once when a female voice told me to pick up the phone in a dream then as soon as I woke up the phone rang, nothing paranormal anyway can you dream me up some lotto numbers I'm in some financial trouble right now lol

Everyone is psychic, though to varying degrees. This happens to most people some of the time, and some people all of the time. You are perfectly normal, and it is useful to be in tune with the world around you. For example, I often dream that I'm late for something, and when I wake up, yikes, I'm late!

Practicing meditation will help.

You have precognition. I also get it too:) But I sometimes dream about passed over people and have premonitions.

thats really cool. Precognition. That is your ability. Though it seems that yours is through dreams. Doesn't seem very new, but its cool. Well good luck with the ability. You never know what might appear in your dreams.

Your a willed soul with Precognative Dreaming ability. Its not rare at all most willed souls have that ability. Thanks for sharing though.
