I'm a fifteen year old that has had a fair share of odd experiences. I think I may be psychic. If anyone can offer me advise or help, I would deeply appreciate it.
Some moments I know I have mistaken for a psychic experience. I used to be able to "predict" what my best friend would do or say. We spent every day together, and I just knew her so well. That was just a normal thing.
The first real event I can recall was last year. It was during the end of the presidential election. One night I went to sleep and dreamt of Barak Obama. Zombies had killed my family so I convinced Obama to let me live with him. When I woke up that morning, I picked up the news paper and learned that it was the day of his Inauguration. Some kids in my class even claimed I looked like his daughter.
Odd how people say a dream is a wish your heart makes. If that's the case, then what's a nightmare? One dream I had depicted my youngest older sister walking in with a little girl. My sister had adopted the youngster.
In an event to play with the six year old, I took her to our exercise room, because it had the best television. Suddenly I heard the child's thoughts, and she talked of strangling me. She threw a towel over my face and tried to smother me, but I got away. When I confronted my sister the girl went crazy, saying I was her play thing and had she not slipped up I would be dead. I knew she'd try to kill my family, but then I awoke.
I felt strange about the little girl. She looked so familiar. I decided to tell a friend who is very wise for her age. She asked what the girl looked like.
I described her deep blue eyes, chocolate brown, bob cut hair, and her tan skin. My friend freaked out and said that's exactly what she looked like at around the age I had mentioned. The weird thing is I met this friend on the first day of 8th grade. The next time I went to her house I found a picture of her on the table. She was about 6 when it was taken, and I was immediately focusing on that dream.
I've also been hearing things. Sometimes I'll be in my own world and hear someone whisper my name! The voice always sounds familiar and comforting. It reminds me of certain friends. That friend is constantly around me, but when I look at them they are completely enveloped in their current activity.
Last but not least is this strange power I seem to wield. In a beloved book series I own there are these vampires. There are 3 different types of vampire, but that's a story for another day. One type has the power of compulsion. They can make their will that of someone else's.
I think I can also do this. It works on people and also electronics. Sounds crazy right? When my computer's being slow I feel pressure build in my head and right when I want it to, the computer speeds up. When I don't want to be annoyed and I hear my sister making her way over to me, I feel the pressure again and she'll halt. After a second she'll turn and go the opposite way.
Oh! There's one more. I also feel other people's emotions. When someone's hurt I can feel it. One day I walked into my choir class and looked at the date written on the board. Just then I felt terrified, as if someone's life was on the line. I was shaking and hyperventilating as well.
So is this all in my head?
