How To Use My Psychic Ability

My name is Lyndi and about three months ago I went and saw a psychic for the first time. I have always been a little different since I was little my family described me growing up as "intuitive". I could feel peoples feelings but not too intense and I could just tell by looking at someone if they were more of a positive person or a negative. And I could also see spirits from time to time. I really only like a shadow of them really I can't talk to them or anything like that. But anyways, I kind of noticed all of this growing up but always second guessed myself just thought it was just in my head. But when I went and saw this psychic (who was highly recommended, I actually looked some up in my area and she had great reviews and has been doing this for 30 plus years. And has been in the same location during that time period) she told me I had a psychic ability and it was low level. She told me that I knew what she was talking about and not to be afraid and I should practice it. She says I can read people auras and sense a change in them. But honestly I've seen one aura in my life, but she said I can sense a change in them. I also can walk into a situation and can tell if something bad is going to happen or good (which I also second guess myself when I get those feelings). I have been trying to practice and I have been getting better but I'm getting really emotional about things and almost scared of this ability I have. I don't really know how to use it properly and I would really like advice on this. Its really hard to cope sometimes because some people come on so strong to me and I don't know how to handle it.
