I know this too sounds absurd. When my husband and I were first married we lived in a tiny 1 bedroom duplex apartment. About one year of marriage, I became pregnant. I informed our landlady that we would like a bigger apartment to get ready for the new addition. 6 months later the elderly lady that lived next door passed away. My landlady informed us that we could move into her two bedroom apartment in two weeks. I agreed, after if anything paranormal went on it wouldn't have been the first time. I thought I could handle it.
At first nothing major happened. All was quiet. Then my son was born. We put him in the bigger room (babies come with a lot of accessories). We were laying in bed after I had lain him down. My husband and I both heard a door slam and what sounded like a woman trying to say something. Following my son screaming. I rushed in there ready for whatever it was. I have dealt with things like this in the past and have always been told not to fear them and if you want them to do so - tell them to "GET OUT". I opened his door and picked him up to soothe him. Once he was calm I said to the room at large "Do not mess with my child, you may try to communicate with me however you wish, but DO NOT mess with my child!"
Months went by with nothing major occurring. Giving in that my son just could not sleep contently in his first room we switched with him. A week after we switched rooms, my husband began to tell me to "Stop, trying to scare him..." I claimed ignorance as I was in fact ignorant of what he was talking about.
About one month later I was lying in bed reading, feeling tired, I told my husband I was going to bed and to wake me when he came to bed. I fell asleep, but was awoken shortly later to what I thought was my husband shaking my right big toe. As my eyes adjusting I noticed a luminous white figure crouched at the foot of our bed. I couldn't tell if they were male or female but I noticed they wore round glasses and that just before they "faded out" they smiled at me. I don't know who it was but I made sure they didn't visit and let me know in that way again!
