The night of April 20th 2010 around 9:45 pm was intense. In my Chicago apartment I kept smelling the scent of natural gas, sulfur, burning oil and fire; my girlfriend was also present and smelled nothing at all. My nose had started burning and I became short of breathe. She all of a sudden jumped up and was a really freaked out, sorta like a panic attack. She felt light-headed and had a headache and her chest or lungs hurt; she said she felt like she was about to die. We both decided it was a psychic incident. (later she had felt as if she was channeling a victim)
I had asked our neighbors if they smelt anything like I was smelling, but they had not been smelling anything strange that night. We both sensed something was horribly wrong and decided to go outside for some fresh air. I continued to smell the before mentioned scents.
At about 10:10 pm we decided to look online for any news of a disaster but nothing had been posted online anywhere regarding anything of the such. Last night one of my girlfriend's friends had called and asked that we both send good energy to the oil rig spill/explosion off southern Louisiana. And we Finally realized that was what we were both sensing. Blew my mind. Our feelings were so intense.
I didn't sleep the whole night as if I had drank a pot of coffee. We both felt "off" for 3 days. It felt great to have our psychic abilities validated, but at the same time felt horrible about what had happened that night off the coast of Louisiana.
